I went thru the steps exactly as you did them but it still says to replace the toner. What am I doing wrong?

Brother HL-L2340DW, slide tab still does not fix it DRUM! Error, I replace the DRUM still DRUM! Error!!!

After trying to reset the toner cartridge with your process the message "Replace Toner" message still comes up then a message that states to visit a website to get new tomer delivered. I have tried several times. I think a firmware update has ruined your process.
