The problem with this feature is, it shows all the ones you already have as well.

Note: Bubbul Frogs do not respawn. Each cave contains one Bubbul Frog, you just need to look for it thoroughly. You’ll get a check mark on the right corner of the cave icon in the map to indicate that you’ve already found the bubbul frog in a specific cave :) hope this helps

Okay. Consider me annoyed: All of the Lake Floria area caves show up both from the Guchini Plain cherry tree AND the Hateno/Ebon Mountain one, except Guchini-exclusive Ubota Point Cave (which also happens to have a well hidden entrance). Found it now, thanks :P

I think they stay out as long as you remain in the outer world exploring the caves but if u enter like a shrine or something near a cave n load or fast travel they dissapear.

The caves are apart of the surface so they don't have their own individual map although you can see caves that you discover on the map of the surface

Each area that you do pings every cave in that area as far as I'm aware, yeah.

I know of connecting the amount to the amount of Bubbulfrog gems, but there are a lot of guides that say over 400 (which seems not right). I know that some of that depends on what you consider to be a cave.
