Just bought a grom yesterday! So fun! I drive a stick car for my daily and have for years, I have stalled a few times but it’s because I don’t trust myself on what gears I’m at and panic and stall. When taking off I go about 7 mph before letting go of the clutch completely

Realistically , you fully release the clutch at a faster pace when taking off at around 5mph to 7mph. It all just happens so fast. You can do it at 2-3 mph but it will take a lot more time and you have to release a lot more slower and roll for a longer bit before releasing the clutch out all the way. It’s always fun though to experiment at all the different speeds and gears though!

Now if one has mastered U turns and full lock handle bar turns and be able to go 1 mph with clutch control would these skills transfer over to say a 750 CC bike or are the big bikes way more difficult to handle and falling down is easier.
