Here is a brief video on what I do when riding the mountains and what to look out for!

Dark rally co-Rider. My dad always used to do this when I used to go on the back of his bike. Hearing the all the prediction of where gravel, bumps, and holes are, is so reminiscent of those Sunday breakfast runs with him.

Felt like I was watching rally with the "medium left, soft right etc"🤣 it's also important to KNOW the road before any spirited riding. Some call it a "rekie" but it's essentially doing a sighting ride to see where the hazards are (eg potholes dangerous curves, blind junctions etc)-one downhill and another uphill. Great video man!!

Yeah spot on! Always do a sighting lap before going for more. Especially roads like this one!

Sign up for a motorcycle track racing school. Real pros will lead you around a track, even if you don't have a motorcycle license. You just have to know, roughly, how to operate a motorcycle. I went from a grom in a parking lot for my beginner's permit, to a track-prepped bike with full leathers and helmet. They also record you and play back the footage to give their advice on how to improve. I felt like such a superhero while riding, but I looked like such a newbie in the footage 😂

@@matvarela Thanks man! Yes I've been racing and do a lot of track days and know my way around a race track. Definitely the best route to go when learning how to ride is to get expert coaching from a professional rider. Thanks for watching!
