love your videos and all the tips. here’s another tip for that set up. put a bobber stop under the bobber on the mainline right above the weight. so if you do break off you don’t lose your bobber. i haven’t lost a bobber since i started doing this.

Fantastic tip there! Thanks for sharing. You are absolutely right that will save any float on a break off

Although I mentioned in your last video I prefer plugs, when bank fishing I do enjoy float fishing and have a few different rods for it. So I do know the two methods so I'm going to skip the rest of this video, I currently don't have enough time with the holidays. I hope you understand. That said I was curious and impressed to see the snow in the background. Here's a little tip if you haven't already figured it out. Slip on a pair of nitrile gloves and slide one of those small hand warmers under the glove on the back of your hand. If necessary go up in thickness from the 5mm to the 7mm. If you look around you might find the 9mm. The thicker glove retains more heat but of course begins to lose sensitivity for tying knots. I live in southwest Washington on the Cowlitz near Castle Rock. I expect a good springer this season on the Columbia and Cowlitz. Consider doing some springer fishing this upcoming season with me. I have a 17' Alumaweld Striker, big enough for two people. Sringers, wonderful wonderful springers. Have a great day. ❄️🎣🐟🔥🎅

Thanks for watching and the support! The glove trick is a great one and often overlooked how much a difference the base glove can make. Ah yes I saw the numbers for next year, should be a great season. Definitely will keep in touch would be fun!

Great video! Where did you find the barrel swivel on the inline weight? I’d like to find a good lead based inline weight with swivels on them.
