Jason is so talented. I follow him on instagram and I’m always amazed by how good he is giving the fact that he has not been skating for that long. A big inspiration for all beginners!

Hey Dirty! I know you're at Rollercon right now. Hope you're having fun! I noticed Jason had Arius plates but was wondering what plates you are rockin' these days? Kinda look like Reactor Neo? Just wondering what difference you think plates make beside just weight? Maybe you could address this in a buying roller skates part 2 video? Thanks!

Thank for part 2. I couldn't get how the back leg was to do. But I see now you just lunge and when you turn your head, shoulders and hips you will automatically dip in a circular motion .

Omg how awesome to see Jason on your channel. I first saw him skate at Disco Oasis with his fairy wings and I loved his style of skating and how he expresses himself thru his skates. Thanks for all the tips 👏🏽

Debra i would love it if you could explain some thing a little better for me, because these dips are killing me. I understand the outer edge, and that's going well, but i don't understand how you get momentum, while your back foot is on its front truck. Do you start a dip from a A position? And then when do you lift your heel? When push? My brain just does not click. I hope you understand 🥴 Ps love your videos!! I've been skating for almost 6 weeks now, 3 times a week. and i love it so much! Its my workout and i've never felt better. And all those credits are too you and skatie🥰 so thank you, so much! Xxx

Should I make sure to have my jam plugs put in when I’m practicing dips? I have my toes tops in most of the time since I practice outside 90% of the time

So Dirty darling I got my sure-grip fame skates just as you suggested a few months ago, but now I am better and need some better skates. I am getting pretty good and have gotten fairly strong. I practice at least 3 times a week. I want/need to dance, jam, and do stuff like these dips. What do you think I should I get? I am 5’1’’and weigh around 155# I have been dancing all my life. Tap and ballet starting at 2y - then on to ballroom. I was a roller skater in my pre and post teens and just started skating again about 4 months ago. Thanks so much for your time and these wonderful videos. - Song

All of my skate setups are detailed in the video description boxes. I wear Sure Grip plates, wheels, bearings and toe-stops. I wear Sure Grip and Riedell boots.

Can I still do this without removing my toe stops?
@MothChildCosplay2 жыл бұрын
I'm not Dirty Deb, but I keep my toe stops in! I do tend to keep my stops raised as high as they will go and I ride on a very flexible boot, allowing me to have full ankle mobility. I just stick my leg back and try to keep my foot balanced just right on the front two wheels without engaging the toe stop. It took a bit of trial to figure out my exact foot placement, but I can perform what I think are medium-deep dips without removing my stops!
