Send this to dc. lol This is what they should have done and still can do. Love the slate. Its what every dc fan wants to see. This is by far the best one I've seen of one of these videos. Since you asked for Wonder Woman 2 ideas, I decided to post an idea I had for a Wonder Woman sequel that would work well with your plan. It can be a sequel to Wonder Woman 1 or 84. Before I say any more, I wrote this before Wonder Woman 84 came out and it's crazy to see how right I was. TONE Let's start with tone. I think they balanced humor and dark moments so beautifully in the first WW. None of the humor seemed forced. It was organic to the story. So how do we get that tone and balance right again? Unfortunately, we cannot rely on the fish-out-of-water scenario again because now WW would have been around 100 years. However, I think there is something to be said for making WW 2 another fish out of water story in away so we can add some light moments to it. So how about we have WW getting used to being famous. Having Wonder Woman getting used to being in the public eye will be part of her arc in the movie. However, I do think the film needs to take itself a little bit more seriously than the last one while not losing WW's kindness and buoyant spirit. The more they allow Wonder Woman to shine as a beacon of love in a crazy world of image, beauty, and publicity obsession the more the audience will fall in love with her. The more the audience falls in love with WW the more effective, tearing her down in this movie is going to be. And that is exactly what needs to happen. STORY How can we tear Wonder Woman down in a way that is taken seriously by general, mainstream audiences? One thing I can't stress enough, Cheetah cannot be the main villain in WW2. I know people might say having a friend become a villain adds emotion or whatever, but that for me is not enough. As a filmmaker for me, there would only be one way to go. Go after Wonder Woman's mother. My idea would be to adapt a mix between The Circle and Eyes Of Gorgan, in which Alkyone is the main bad guy (She is a villain from Wonder Woman The Circle Graphic Novel) The story is we discover on Themysicra that a 500 years ago when Diana was born, The Queeens Guards led by Alkyone tried to assassinate Diana, convinced by Alkyone that having a child born on the Island will bring a curse to the Amazons and end their fragile peace. Instead of the child of Zeus, Alkyone convinces them that Hades brought her to life from a clay statue Hippolyta molded from the Earth and through dark magic put in her belly. Convinced by their leader the trio of Queens guards betray the Queen and on Diana's name day try to assassinate her, only to be stopped by Artemis and Antiope who found out their plan and had been guarding Diana in secret. Hippolyta orders Alkyone and The Circle to be imprisoned behind Dooms Doorway till they repent, but they each refuse. Antiope learns that the real reason Alkyone tried to kill Diana is she was in love with the Queen and wanted to be her lover and the only one she cares for. Alkyone, also has a twisted plan to turn Paradise Island into an Authoratarian State and destroy Mans World before they find the Amazon Island. Meanwhile in Mans World Dian is living in Gateway City, where she works as a Diplomat with no secret identity. She is just Wonder Woman. She believes that she now knows how to locate Themyscira and wants to become the official Ambassador of her people and finally open them up to Mans World. When news is heard of this by the Amazons, they become suspicious of Diana and worry for their security. So one Amazon releases Alkyone who plans a coup against the Queen and she takes over Island and turns it into a brutal dictatorship, in which she uses monsters she has befriended in her cell behind Dooms Doorway to crush Amazon's who try to voice dissent against her rule. She imprisons the Queen, but those who even think to hurt a hair on her head she executes including one of her closest advisors and friends. Wonder Woman meanwhile goes in as a diplomat to a political situation in which genocide is taking place in Kandaq or somewhere in Africa. Wonder Woman at first tries to negotiate peace with the warlords, but when they piss her off she cleans out the whole army and saves the women and children of the village in which all the men had been killed... Diana's actions are praised and condemned in equal measure by politicians such as Vanessa Cale, as it is seen that she acted as US Citizen, but without authority. Meanwhile, on Paradise Island, Alkyone decides she must attack Wonder Woman and kill her, so as to keep the Amazons safe. When Hippolyta hears of this she tries her best to escape but is defeated by the Circle. Alkyone still will not kill her she loves her too much. In a jealous rage, Alkyone hatches a plan to send Medusa to Gateway city to destroy Diana. She releases the monster and Medusa who has super strength, incredible speed, can fly, spit venom and venomous bites from her hair, and can of course turn people to stone, makes her way to Gateway to confront Diana. For releasing her Medusa gifts Alkyone the emulate of Ares which gifts her superpowers. Medusa arrives and attacks Diana staff, turning the two sons of one of the political aid Joshua who work for her to stone. In the process, Diana is injured. Then Diana finds out Medusa has challenged to combat in an Arena on a big football Gameday, (Superbowl) otherwise when the camera role she will gaze into them and turn the entire city to stone. Wonder Woman races to rescue the city, and faces Medusa. In the process, she realizes to defeat Medusa she cannot look at her so she blinds herself with the acid from one of Medusa's snakes and defeats Medusa while blind. Badly hurt, Diana realizes the danger her mother is in and gives a friend Trevor Barnes to coordinates to Themyscira. He flies her there. No men can set foot on the Island so she must go alone. Alkyone has turned Themyscira into a death trap. However, Diana finds a way to defeat Alkyone and the circle fighting alongside Hippolyta and some of her loyal Amazons. Who also defeat the monsters of Alkyone. Before Alkyone is defeated however she shoots an arrow at Wonder Woman. Hippolyta jumps in the way and she is turned to stone. The arrow was dipped in the tears of Medusa. Alkyone realizing what she has done screams, she has killed her beloved Queen. She looks to Diana and tells her she knew Diana was destined to destroy Paradise. Her plan was always to give her Queen the throne back. Alkyone tries to strike at Diana, but Diana defeats her. Alkyone now defeated, The Amazons want to kill her but Diana says that is not what her mother would have wanted. She is sent back to the prisons behind Doomsdoorway. That night Diana goes to the temple of Aphrodite or Athena and she prays to the Goddess. To her surprise the Goddess appears. She tells Diana she can grant her one thing and one thing only. So if she wants her sight or her mother back she can only have one. Diana ponders. She then leaves the beach and is picked by Trevor Barnes. The Amazons want her to stay, but she says she will soon return. She arrives at the Embassy, Joshua comes up and hugs and thanks Diana. We cut back, Diana is still blind and her mother is still stone. Instead, the two sons of Joshua are alive. Diana used her wish to give them life. The film ends on Olympus in the gravesite of the Gods. Only 3 or 4 are left alive. The female ones (in the comics that Dianas 80s origin gave her her powers) It turns out one of Diana's friend from the Themyscira Embassy she is building actually is in disguise and was Aphrodite all along. They talk and Athena tells the rest, "I told you she would pass the test. She's ready." Setting up for a sequel. Credits

I knew it would be a disaster. She is a good villain, but not a main villain. Same as Giganta. Ares, Dr psycho, Alkyone are Wonder Woman's 3 best ideas for main cinematic villains.

Honestly I feel this is the great explanation of the DCEU. DC deserve (movie wise) to be put on the same level as the MCU. It’s just Warner Bros don’t give the same time and care that Marvel Studios gives to the MCU. Good job bro. And I hope in our lifetime we can get the DCEU we all deserve on the big screen.

Yeah I definitely think that the roster alone should be able stand along side the MCU but for some reason Warner Bros seems to not WANT to give them the time and care that a cinematic universe would need to be good. The only way that I could see them being successful would be through doing great standalone movies about individual characters or by doing a complete reboot because I don't think there's really much to salvage from what they have now.

@@PRsGrabBag its not just Warner bros........for me it's mostly Zack's Man of Steel which laid a shaky foundation and his need to make 3 - 3.5 hrs movies..... It all started with MoS and BvS(theatrical cut) both of these movies had full support from the studio and excitement from audience but Zack's vision for DCEU and the movies he made left a sour taste.......that lead to lack of confidence from studio and lack of excitement from general audience.........then it all goes to shit

It’s for sure Snyder’s inability to make likeable characters in a regular movie timeframe but Warner kept letting him get movies after Man of Steel. Warner even made some of that edginess bleed into Suicide Squad. The problem is that they wanted to be contenders with Marvel so bad that they tried being the opposite and now they’re just copying them outright

I like how Superman and Batman didn't have to fight to settle their differences. Reminds me so much of World's Finest. Ultimately, even if maybe 1 punch or two were thrown, they ended their differences in ideology by simply talking it out. Despite their initial distrust, they still want to ultimately work together to help save the world, which is something BvS sorely failed to understand.

That’s because it was terrible writing. Snyder is a terrible writer. There are a multitude of reasons why they should’ve never fought one another in BvS, just within the movie already. But Bruce wouldn’t just go to kill him before even knowing him. I don’t understand why any Batman fan would enjoy a stupid Bruce Wayne, but they did. Superman walks right into it pretty much like in The Dark Knight Returns, but then even the TDKR moment is ultimately ruined. He was so excited to make it look like TDKR that he forgot about his own story. I had fun enough with it, but it’s a hodgepodge of different things Snyder likes rom DC stories all thrown together.

Here’s my DCEU Concept. It’s not necessarily following the MCU’s blueprint or release dates. It’s just a bunch of movie concepts that I thought would be cool. (It’s also canon to the upcoming Matt Reeves Batman movies) PHASE 1: Creation of the League - *Superman: Man of Steel* (Pretty much the same story as the original movie, just with a more hopeful tone, the intro scene on Krypton is shorter, Zod isn’t killed by Superman but instead maybe someone like Lois with a Kryptonite bullet, but the biggest difference is the cast. Superman is played by Tom Welling, Lois is played by Erica Durance, and Clark’s parents are also played by the same actors from Smallville) - *Wonder Woman* (Same movie) - *Batman vs Superman* (Better version of the original movie. Batman is a more seasoned and brutal vigilante after Jason Todd’s and Lucius Fox’s death, but he never kills. Lucius died when the Wayne Tech building he was in collapsed during Superman’s fight with Zod. Doomsday is replaced with Bizzaro. Lex Luthor (played by Micheal Rosenbaum) creates and controls him with a mother box. Superman, Batman, and Wonder Woman defeat Bizzaro, but the mother box transports Superman to Apokolipis. Cyborg’s dad studies it) - *Night of The Batman* (Batman feels a massive amount of guilt for Superman’s disappearance. Bane arrives in Gotham and breaks the Bat. Bruce reluctantly makes Tim Drake the new Robin and becomes more open with the idea of being part of a team) - *Justice League: Heroes United* (Pretty much just the Snyder Cut but shorter. The League fights against Stephen Wolff and tries to figure out what happened to Superman. They bring him back with Cyborg’s mother box, but Superman is being controlled by Darkseid who’s using an incomplete version of the anti-life equation. He eventually snaps out of it before the final fight. Wally West is the definitive Flash because Barry Allen disappeared without a trace around 2 years beforehand. After they beat Stephen Wolf, the League members decide to hide the three Mother Boxes. Superman throws one in the phantom zone and Batman hides another on a WayneTech Satellite which will later become the Watch Tower. John Stewart makes a cameo in a mid credit scene and offers to hide the 3rd box on Oa) PHASE 2: Batman’s Paranoia - *Acrobats* _TV Show_ (The longest running series I have planned for this DCEU. It takes place before Man of Steel and ends after Darkseid War. Dick Grayson abandons the role of Robin and eventually becomes Nightwing, and then SPOILER ALERT the next Batman when Bruce retires. This is where all the new Robins and other Batfamily members are fleshed out. Jason Todd’s death happens early on) - *Green Lantern* (Introduces John Stewart as the definitive Green Lantern because Hal Jordan abandoned the Corps under mysterious circumstances. The Red Lanterns are the villains and Sinestro is teased at the end) - *Mask of The Batman* (A mixture of Under the RedHood and Hush. Batman creates contingency plans for each League member. Jason Todd is brought back to life. It ends with Jason paralyzing Joker like how Bruce did in TDKR) - *Superman: Man of Tomorrow* (Clark discovers Kara Zor-El. Brainiac is the villain) - *Aquaman* (Same movie) - *Wonder Woman: WW2* (Diana fighting in WW2) - *The Flash* (Wally West struggles with having to take on Barry’s mantle as he fights against Gorilla Grodd and all the other Central City Rogues. Introduces Green Arrow) - *The Suicide Squad* (Same movie) - *Peacemaker* _TV Show_ (Same one on HBO Max) - *Justice League: Tower of Babel* (Green Lantern, Martian Manhunter, and Green Arrow join the Justice League. The Legion of Doom is created and is made up of Lex Luthor, Deathstroke, Cheetah, Reverse Flash, Black Manta, Metallo, Dark Archer, Malefic, and Sinestro. They steal Batman’s contingency plans, which leads to him being voted out of the League. Ra’s Al Ghul is revealed to be the one who orchestrated it all and an end credit scene is shown with him and Damian Wayne) - *Al Ghul* (When Bruce was training to be Batman, he trained with the League of Assassins and had a child with Talia. Years later this child, Damian, decided to leave his grandfather’s cult and join the Batman’s crusade) PHASE 3: Rise of Darkseid - *Fear The Batman* (Bruce has to deal with the aftermath of him being kicked from the League, all the while Joker takes control of Gotham. This is the grand finale to all the Batman movies) *Teen Titans* _TV Show_ (The roster is made up of Damien Wayne, Raven, Starfire, Beast Boy, and Blue Beetle. Nightwing, Wally West, and Wonder Girl act as their mentors because they were the original team. Cyborg also occasionally teams up with them) - *The Flash: Flashpoint* (Wally discovers that the reason why Barry disappeared years ago, is because he went back in time to save his mom. Which trapped him in the Flashpoint universe. Wally goes in and saves him. Hints at the Crisis) - *Birds of Prey* (Cat Woman, Black Canary, Huntress, Oracle, and Cassandra Cain Batgirl vs the Gotham Sirens) - *Wonder Woman: Hellblazer* (Wonder Woman teams up with John Constantine (played by Keanu Reeves) to fight Circe and the Upside Down Man. Set in the 80s) - *The Corps* _TV Show_ (A buddy cop series about Kyle Rayner GL and Guy Gardener GL solving space crimes with other Lanterns being introduced, like Jessica Cruz and Simon Baz) - *Shazam!* (Same movie) - *Superman: Man of Yesterday* (Darkseid decides that Superman can’t be controlled, and must instead be eradicated. He creates Doomsday and it kills Superman) -*Men of Steel* (About Superman’s friend Henry Irons and a Kryptonian clone made by Lex Luthor after Superman’s death. Irons is given a kryptonian supersuit and he teams up with Superboy and Supergirl to defeat cyborg Superman. Teases Superman’s return) - *Justice League: Darkseid War* (Darkseid destroys Oa, the Watch Tower, and goes into the phantom zone to gain all three mother boxes and to complete the anti-life equation. The League loses and the Earth is conquered) - *Suicide Squad: Hell to Pay* (Task Force X trying to survive in the post apocalyptic Earth created by Darkseid. Think Suicide Squad meets Mad Max) - *New Gods* (Introduces the New Gods and reveals their history with Apokolips) - *Justice League: First Crisis* (Wally goes back in time to reverse everything. He ends up at the moment where Darkseid is attacking the Watch Tower. The satellite falls on Gotham, making it a blasted wasteland. Superman is brought back to life. All the heroes and even some villains have one last battle with Darkseid in Gotham. Darkseid is defeated by Wally. He runs so fast that he tackles him into the beginning of time, destroying Darkseid’s essence, which also kills Wally in the process. Bruce retires, marries Selena, and passes the mantle down to Dick DKR style) PHASE 4: Calm before the Crisis - *Static Shock* (Just a fun and kinda layed back movie showing the origins of one of my favorite DC heroes. It’s meant to be a pallet cleanser after all the sad and serious stuff happened with Darkseid. An end credit scene is shown where Virgil joins the Titans) - *Black Adam* (Upcoming Black Adam movie with the Rock. Introduces Justice League Dark) *Green Arrow* _TV Show_ (A better, shorter, and more comic accurate version of the Arrow show) - *Shazam!: Gods of Thunder!* (Shazam vs Black Adam) - *The Atom* (Ryan Choi Atom movie) *Booster Gold* _TV Show_ (Booster Gold up to time shenanigans. Introduces the Legion of Superheroes and other comedy characters like Plastic Man) - *Aquaman: The Lost Kingdom* (Aquaman 2) - *Green Lantern: Blackest Night* (The Green Lanterns face off against the Black Lantern Corps. John finally meets Hal Jordan and discovers why he left the Corps. Hal was Green Lantern back in the 50s, but his town was destroyed and he was driven insane. He joined the Black Lantern Corps and became the villain Parallax. It ends with him imprisoned and the Anti-Monitor is teased. This movie is a combination of Darkest Night and Zero Hour) *The Question* _Mini Series_ (About the hyper intelligent, somewhat psychotic vigilante known as The Question solving a deadly conspiracy. It has a very Watchmen-like tone. Throughout the series, something feels a little off about it. As if, it doesn’t take place in the same universe as the other films and shows…) - *The Flash: of Three Worlds* (Barry Allen was summoned to Earth 2, where he meets Jay Garrick and the Justice Society of America. Main villains are the Crime Syndicate from Earth 3. We’re FINALLY at the Crisis and this is Part 1 of it) *Elseworlds* _Miniseries_ (Shows various alternate timelines such as Red Son, Batman Darkest Knight, and DCeased. Basically this universe’s “What If?” It acts as Part 2 of the Crisis. Each episode ends with that alternate Earth being consumed by the Anti-Matter universe) - *Justice League: Unlimited* (The Finale to everything. Because of the heroes of Earth 1 constantly screwing with time and space to save the day, the Anti-Monitor is released and tries to consume the multiverse. The Monitor summons various heroes throughout the multiverse. The Question TV series is revealed to have taken place on Earth 4. It has many references to past films and Terry Maginis Batman [Earth 12] and Christopher Reeves/Brandon Routh Superman [Earth 22] are vital characters. This is pretty much the “What If?” season finale made into a movie. Ends with the multiverse being rebooted allowing for a new DCEU) So ya, that’s it. It’s been a wild ride but after like a million edits and months of thinking, I finally planned it all out. I was originally going to make a phase 5 that revolved around the crisis but I just combined it with phase 4 instead. Yep. So if I were to make my own outline for DC's first few movies, I'd start with Batman. As much as I like Superman more, I think Batman is the better start. Something that has a tighter and more isolated story. It's funny how my initial ideas was kinda the same with the revealed plot for The Batman (battinson): a detective story with a mysterious killer who leaves behind riddles.

Then it makes much more sense to have a hardened and crueller batman be the villain in BvS, because he's been through so much and had to come back to the city he'd managed to escape from in TDKR. Everything was set up so perfectly, why did they have to abandkn that franchise?

@@littleredruri They had to. Chris Nolan and Christian Bale didn't want to expand on that trilogy. And to be honest, I prefer it that way. Nolan was always vocal about how his Batman and the world around him doesn't co-exist well with other heroes and I agree. Look at it this way, Bale's Batman would've perceived the world very differently if there was a Superman who existed in that continuity. I'm on the side of rebooting Batman to start off a shared DC Universe. But I understand your sentiments. We just came from a very good Batman trilogy and it would be very hard to just reboot that immediately. I guess for what good The Dark Knight Trilogy was, it finished at a time when we wanted a shared DC film universe-bad timing.

@@mistermastermind528 The Batman that comes out in March 2021 is a good starting point imo idk if DC plans to keep WW and Aquaman canon or not and whatever they doing in the Flash movie but I'd start off with The Batman expand into other heroes make a good Green Lantern movie finally then tie them all together like ZS syndercut my JL 2 would be vs Legion Of Doom and my JL 3 would be a 2 parter vs Darkseid

You hit upon what is at least for me the most compelling thing about the DC universe - the relationships. I know every franchise has to do origins and introductions, but at some point it has to be clear that all of these heroes have been working together for years. And they talk to one another like they’ve been working together for years. not jokey (though there would be plenty of humor), but sincerely, as you would talk to your best friends or family. I love the whole sequence. The hawkman/hawkgirl relationship as a central aspect is brilliant, as you can see the love these people have for one another through them. Well done.

Not “better” tbh. Don’t get me wrong, they could be equals, but MCU movies have a knack of making unknown characters very iconic and that’s what makes them survive for so long aside from the movies themselves being great. They have amazing characterization and can churn out more iconic characters than DC already had under their belt. I mean, who tf even knew who Hawkeye was before the Avengers movie? No doubt they’d be equals if WB did their shit right though, between the new iconic characters the MCU makes and the already iconic ones DC has/had, they definitely would’ve been in competition rivaling their little comics war back in the day.

Out of most, "How to fix the DCEU movies" videos I've seen, yours is probably my favorite and the best one I've seen. Just imagining all of this makes me feel excited and sad that we could never get to see masterpieces like that ever. It would do the DC Universe *justice* because while I love both Marvel and DC modern day non-comic-reading-idiot-normie-MCU fans have really gotten bad perception of DC and their characters. Couldn't agree more. For some reason, only the fans seem to be the ones who care about this brand of superheros rather than WB(I realize I'm commenting on an older video, but the idea still remains). I strongly believe the DCAU was made by fans instead of executives- hence why it was so good. Every show was fantastic and had its own tones and distinctive qualities, but felt natural as they connected to one another. I'd never in a million years thought I'd be laughing when Batman cracked a one liner or not felt uncomfortable with his infamous smirk, but I really don't mind at all. Or the feeling of somber hope that Superman gives off in his show. Tbh, even though I love Marvel Comics and especially the MCU, I want DC to succeed too. I want to be conflicted over whether to watch DC or Marvel next time I go to a theater and receive my satisfaction of superheroes in general. But as of right now, Marvel Studios is the one franchise I've invested over 10 years into and won't stop investing into for a while. It's gonna take a lot of mistakes before I dissuade from Marvel

DC's comics and animated movies are SO good and rich and that not translating to a cohesive live-action universe is sad. Seeing the other comments I want to throw some of my own ideas around. Phase 1: The League and Leaguers' Origins 1. Green Lantern (A Hal Jordan story, I want Stewart to be the main GL so I'd like Hal's story to be about 10 years earlier. The Red Lanterns are the antagonists. End-credits: Parallax possesses Sinestro, who becomes a Yellow Lantern.) 2. Batman: The Long Halloween (Same as comics - a detective thriller. Batman has been depicted way too much as a crime-fighter than a detective. This movie sets up Gotham and characters too. End-credits: Graysons' death/Dick intro) 3. Wonder Woman (Same as the DCEU one, set in WWI - but she defeats a child/children of Ares. End-credits: Ares) 4. The Flash (An origin story with quite a few Rogues. No multiverse to time-travel yet. End-credits: Reverse-Flash tease) 5. Superman: Man of Tomorrow (An origin story similar to the animated movie would be great. I want to establish why he loves Earth, and his humanity, before giving him the dilemma of saving Krypton like in MoS.) 6. Green Lantern: New Dawn (HalxStewart story. The GL corps battle the Sinestro Corps and take down Parallax) 7. Justice League (the plot revolves around White Martians attacking Earth in hunt of J'onn J'onzz and we get Martian Manhunter and Justice League movie together. The JL forms with SM, BM, WW, GL (Stewart), Flash, MM). 8. Aquaman (Arthur doesn't become king but helps Mera protect Xebel from some creatures; Corum Rath? Slizzath?) 9. Shazam! (The DCEU Shazam! movie miuns the Shazam! family) ** I'd like to sprinkle in series - Blackhawks (WW spinoff), Gotham (BM spinoff about GCPD), Arrow & Canary) Phase 2: The Leaguers at their peak (and the birth of Titans) 10. Titans: Shoot for the Starro (Some new Titans join. Starro mind-controls the JL and the Titans resolve the situation. The Titans, now equal to their mentors, change their monikers. The Titans are now: Nightwing, Kid-Flash, Troia, Tempest, Bumblee, Starfire, Beast Boy, Raven) 21. Batman: Court of Owls (Batman, Nightwing, Robin (Jason) against Talon and the Court) 22. Black Adam (the Rock has been hyping it up and it looks pretty good so far) 23. Justice League: Doomsday (SM, BM, WW, AM, GL, Flash, MM, Shazam! vs Doomsday. Superman "dies") 24. Martian Manhunter (M'gann M'orzz flees to Earth to ask J'onn to help the rebel White Martians and free some Green Martian survivors held captive. J'onn goes off to Mars. (No he isn't the last son of Mars here)) 25. Wonder Woman: Amazonia (WW goes off to fight Circe who attacks Amazon. Hippolyta dies, Nubia named Queen) 26. Suicide Squad: Hive Five (Amanda Waller calls an attack on H.I.V.E) 27. Aquaman: Return of the King (The Dead King attacks Atlantis with the Trench. Charybdis bites Arthurs hand off) 28. Green Lantern: Blackest Night (Not as big an event as to include the JL. An assh*le Guy Gardner becomes the third GL but dies at the end of the film as a hero. His ring flies off to find...) 29. Titans: The Judas Contract (Deathstroke manipulates Terra to infiltrate the Titans. By the end of the film, Terra dies, and Garth/Tempest is killed, Donna is heartbroken and leaves the Titans (maybe she lives a normal life married to Terry Long in the future), Wally leaves to take care of Central City because *Barry is missing*. The movie ends on a happy note with Bumblebee getting married to Mal Duncan. End-credits: Remaining TItans are Nightwing, Starfire, Beast Boy, Raven) 30. Birds of Prey: Sirens (Batgirl, Canary, Huntress vs Catwoman, Ivy, Harley (who escapes in SS:HF) but they unite by the end to fight the Daughters of Gotham) My Phase 4 and 5 would've been the whole Darkseid Saga. There would be a Flashpoint movie, Superman's revival and Reign of the Supermen, Death in the Family and Red Hood. Introduction to magic-based characters like Zatanna, Dr. Fate, etc. Some more Batman movies and maybe Red Hood and the Outlaws. Haven't really thought it out yet.

I could talk about this for hours with u mate as dc has SO much potential that they are wasting but I'll try to be as concise as a can manage. One of the MAIN things dc needs to focus on to catch up is what marvel have only recently started doing regularly. Genres. Shang chi, Winter soldier, Loki, Wandavision, Black panther, Infinity war +Endgame are all different genres. This helps to stop the movies becoming uniformed which is a problem with most franchises. You don't want people to go to a cinema or turn on your designated streaming service (disney plus for marvel and likely HBO for dc) and then say I'm going to watch a marvel movie or a dc movie because then no matter how good that film is, even if its one of the franchises best offerings (Loki, Infinity war, Shang chi, Black panther) or (Wonder woman, THE suicide squad, Snyder cut, Joker) it will still be labeled. If a franchise such as dc were to keep their productions so varied, interesting and fresh that their movies weren't labeled in this way then they would be able to appeal to reluctant demographics like the Martin scorceses and actually compete for the big awards like Oscars. Hence I'd say just like I'm sure the mcu will do in the future and they've already been doing to some degree because feige is a damn genius dc should split their cinematic uni/Multiverse into sections like the cosmic section, the political section, the mystic section, the multiversal section, the cities section. Marvel have set this up perfectly as they have the street section with Spidey, Defenders, moon knight etc; the mystic section with doc strange, Blade, Wanda; the cosmic section with the guardians, thor, cap marvel; the global section with avengers, cap, black panther, shang chi; the soon to be mutant section with the xmen, deadpool, Wolverine; and the newly established multiversal section with loki and others to likely join. Dc could do this perfectly before marvel has a chance to fully implement it in their universe and it will go a significant way in encouraging directors who WB will hopefully not interfere with to further differentiate their content.

@@himum3429 absolutely. If WB played their cards right, DC could've easily outdone Marvel (not that its a competition). Heck, even with the movies they've released I think they do a better job of establishing how different each movie/character franchise is with the different cinematography and color grading of each director-DC is more visually aesthetic (to me at least). But Marvel far and wide excels at storytelling and having connective tissue because Disney lucked out with Feige. Superman should be a slice of life genre to establish that Clark is your average joe in the inside - have more interactions with people (the S&L series does this well imo). Batman should be gritty, yes, but it can focus on being a detective thriller, or a crime drama. I personally think using Wonder Woman to play out Greek Mythology is a good idea, but have war and conflict be a big part of her since she's a warrior princess. I think James Wan has done good with Aquaman. Green Lantern is your ride to space and Flash leans on more comedy and life. Of course they're all action films too, but action shouldn't be the defining genre.

@@ishraqzuhaer296 Yeah the thing that makes people say marvel has better heroes and dc excels with villains is, even if these people don't realise due to the way marvel structure their heroes. Marvel haven't even done this fully. Iron man is the corporate world. Cap is American/world politics. Thor is norse mythology or if he's written right he's a window to other mythologies too. Hulk is a type of monstrous horror where you can also tell stories of multiple personality disorder. Black widow is a cold war type spy in the world of espionage. Doc strange fights mystical threats. Captain marvel protects the universe as the guardians protect the galaxy. The xmen deal with mutant issues and enemies. Black panther has an entire country to base a franchise on. I could go on but I'll tie it up with Spidey who like bat's has a rogues gallery of RIDICULOUS proportions all operating within NYC. Dc heroes aren't often so clearly established to have clear cut worlds of their own. This can however be changed by the right director. I think because of that the justice league roster NEEDS to be made of characters with different worlds of thier own. Batman-Gotham Superman-World/politics Wonderwoman-Mythology (as well as an introduction to magic before the actual magicians) Green Lanter-Space Flash-Sci-fi/Multiverse.

I think superman should never be a gritty and morally corrupted figure. I really like your idea of the public distrust slowly building against him and maybe even distrust among the justice league members against him and I think that the whole time he should be an uncorrupted figure who is very sad when he sees how humanity, whom he loves and protects, turns against him. I honestly feel like the main problem with the DCEU is the lack of patience. I mean that like doing the big team up film first before you even introduce most of the characters, and having Batman, a more grounded hero, have his first debut fighting Superman out of all people. (I know that Batman is pretty insane in the comics with his Hellbat and all that but he's most known for being a more grounded character). But this doesn't really have that problem. It actually feels well paced and thought out instead of a rushed attempt to catch up with the MCU. It also has its fair share of uniqueness and build up to it. Great video and line up man.

Imagine if in every standalone film, the hero loses until the team up film when only by working together can they stop the previously established villians that won. It would show that the heroes are inexperienced and need to grow and in the team up theyd creatively work off of each others powers to amplify their power and dynamic ability in order to best the villians that have teamed up as the legion of doom. After that the next "phase" could be a bunch of small team ups as full films like batman & green arrow kinda like ant man and the wasp but over the course of a bunch of films with a couple of solo films where the heroes win in there and then theyd build up to the injustice storyline using the next team up film as an intro to the multiverse and at the same time adapting the injustice storyline, (the justice league that travels to the injustice earth to save it from injustice superman and his legion would be OUR justice league that weve watched develop etc) from then on the next phase would be about dealing with the multiverse and its conflicts setting up apokalypse that exists outside the multiverse and thus darkseid wholl wreck shit come the next team up film.. then end it there theres no need to keep going

I actually wrote a DC story that would love to see as a movie. It's called 'Dark Paradox' this story about the Flash running throughout countless multi verse trying change the world of 'Injustice' after Superman took over the Earth, enslave both Batman and Supergirl and are now at war with the entire Lantern Corps and Darkseid's forces. But as he tries to change this timeline he's accidentally changing every multi universe original path. (This movie alone would give Warner Bros & DC comics the perfect opportunity to do any kind of DC movie they want good or bad. All they have to say is that this is part of 'Dark Paradox' that's why the stories don't fall in with the comics and some of the movies. And they would have to put a new DC movie intro logo before every film to let fans know.) at one point of the movie the Flash runs so fast that he begins to even out run the speed force itself in order to fix everything, he has to destroy everything thereby created a new 'Big Bang' but before he could that, he's than suddenly stop by 'The Presence' God of the DC Universe who explains to him that he will not allow him to do anymore damage than what he has already done. Barry doesn't understands and the Presence takes Barry to the 'Source Wall' showing a crack within it that not even the Presence itself can fix it alone. After Barry with the help of the Presence repairs all the DCMV's Barry is taking back to a two years before the 'Injustice War' took place, and with the help of the Presence calls for an emergency meeting with everyone and he means 'everyone' not the JL but LOD and the Light, all of the Lantern corps even the new and old gods and Darkseid's forces. The Presence than explains at the same times all DCMV that war is coming. a war unlike any war that you have ever face. Barry than shows footage from his body camera off his speed suit showing the MCU. Darkseid just smirks and says "interesting" after seeing 'Thanos' wheeling the five stones.

Doom Patrol movie that gives us Beast Boys origin or an adventure with them is something I'd love to see. Also, great shout on Constantine and Doctor Fate. Though personally I'd like to see them individually if possible. I think recently there's been a bit of a resurgence in interest in mysticism, spirituality, esotericism, etc. A Fate movie could really tap right into that if done well. And of course a Hellblazer movie would be awesome. Could get Etrigan (aka the GOAT rhymer in all of comics) in it. If these movies did especially well they could consider venturing into their more out there and niche properties like The Sandman Anyways, an awesome video dude, you've earned my sub 100%

Great list, DC definitely deserves better. It's actually really sad because DC used to be the absolute powerhouse in everything when I was younger. Spiderman was always popular, but it wasn't until around 2006-8 that people started to swoon over Marvel. DC used to always be the leader in comics, cartoons, video games, and yes movies too. But they've just fallen hard, *hopefully* they can regain their glory after the Discovery merger.

Video Games wise DC Hasn't made any good game since 2015's Batman: Arkham Knight (unless we count Lego DC Super Villains but then there is all Three Lego Marvel Games), but Marvel has been on a Blast With Spider-Man, Spider-Man: Miles Morales and GOTG. 9:10 Too true. Hawkman is a badass but because he has hawk wings instead of bat wings, DC sweeps him under the rug. At least that's the only reason I can think of because they're trying to make everyone dark and gritty now. Also for the Titans Movie which Robin would we be dealing with? That's the point I've been making marvel are about to take a bigger foothold then they already have due to that. They're splitting their content and it's genius. Marvel aren't gonna do thanos again in the sense that they're not gonna lead up to kang for 10 straight years. They're leading up to different Villians in different sections. They've got the whole mystic section with doc strange at the helm, Wanda not far behind and blade to come. The global section with the avengers, shang chi, black panther. The street section with Spidey, Moon Knight, daredevil and the defenders are not far behind either it seems. The cosmic section with the guardians, Thor, Captain marvel. The multiversal section has loki and likely captain Britain to follow and they haven't even started the mutant section yet. If dc can do something in a similar vein while also allowing talented directors the licence to let thier ideas flow,they could end up with a universe to rival the mcu. If they can do this while also avoiding the labels that have plagued marvels attempts to be considered for awards such as Oscars and recognition from the greats eg. I'm going to see the latest marvel movie (while it may sound good it immediately means that no matter how good the product is, loki, black panther, infinity war, Ragnarok, shang chi; its immediately labeled in such a way that its often not taken seriously.) then DC is in pole position to eclipse the mcu. This would have to be done to the letter though it would require a ridiculous amount of effort, time, planning, luck and imagination to pull of a universe such as this, but if its done then Bravo. Unfortunately this won't happen.

It's actually usually batman that is use to working in a team, with his history of sidekicks as well he indeed does team up with various people/heroes (gordon,nightwing,zatanna etc list goes on) he is usually the one at the start of JL stories that pulls everyone together. I think that arc would work more for superman as he is use to taking care of an entire emergency by himself and putting other people out of risk way. So him needing to let go and even rely/trust to the others to be able to handle situations by themselves.

I really liked a lot of your ideas. I came up with a similar idea that also closely utilizes the movies they’ve given us. With a mix of using the multiverse to bring them all together. I paired mostly everyone up, “Earth 1” featuring the two most successful Leaguers so far out of all of this mess lol, Wonder Woman & Aquaman. Both with there respective solo movies & sequels. They would basically serve as the audience surrogate as we build to this “multiversal Justice League” knowing their history and when the time comes they’ll be the one’s to bring this “new team” together like their old one. Now technically Harley Quinn (and all of her fellow Squad & Birds Of Prey members/movies) are in this earth as well because of Ben Affleck’s Batman short scenes but I feel like you could still chalk them up to being in their own separate Earth if you wanted to? Either way I would use her as may the “B-plot” through line between these movies as her getting herself stuck/thrown into another Earth first. Maybe Robert Pattinson’s Batman Earth? Making “Earth 2” Matt Reeves Batman, if they eventually want to roll Pat-man into the fold? Otherwise we’ll just have to start from scratch *again* with a Batman lol because I still don’t see how Michael Keaton’s Batman will be *THE* Batman going forward yet? We need a younger contemporary to carry this franchise for years right? Anyways, Pattinson; Keaton; or new actor, Harley drops in and then Batman’s Leaguer pair here would be Green Lantern. Since I really liked the type of back and forth these characters had from that Justice League War animated film and think it could translate well into live action. Side note, we recently had Leslie Grace casted as Batgirl, if Reeves still isn’t wanting to play with the others (with her not connected either) our new Batman/actor for this Earth & idea could be linked to hers. “Earth 3” consisting of Shazam! (And it’s sequel) and his pair being Superman, connecting to that post credits scene in Shazam. Now considering on how the bts stuff works out with Henry Cavill (most likely we’ll end up not keeping him unfortunately) the events of the Man Of Steel movie would stand or not, but only MoS nothing after. (Besides of course then Shazam) Regardless of a Cavill Sequel or a new Superman movie/actor, I imagine an already established Sups with assisting roles for Supergirl (Sasha Calle, maybe one of the first catalyst resulting from The Flash movie to start everything?) and a soon enough Superboy. Lastly, for “Earth 4”, we’ll really have to wait and see how Andy Muschietti’s Flash movie turn’s out (actually messing with all this multiverse stuff) it might render my whole idea here null and void lol But I just imagine at the least, a typical Flash origin movie to really identify with Barry since Idk if he’s a character most casual audience members would know like Batman’s and Superman’s origins. Then I would as well take a break on Cyborg’s character and reintroduce him later on, apart of the Teen Titans. I always liked the idea of him starting out lower level and upgrading up to the Justice League. So to pair with Flash, I would have them be Green Arrow. I’m honestly most familiar with these two characters from the CW shows, so they seem synonymous to me but I would eventually also tie Jurnee Smollett’s Black Canary in more with G.A. Having a cool/dramatic lovers across the multiverse type of storyline going for them. It all culminating to a Crisis On Infinite Earths type of event Justice League movie, fusing all their Earths into one. Keeping the main Leaguers/Characters (actors) we just followed through all of this, going forward.

In my opinion, the DCEU shines the most when reflecting on the light of humanity and finding it not only within others, but within themselves. Superman - stories should deal a counterargument to the "absolute power corrupts absolutely". They should show him struggling with these choices, sometimes making mistakes and having to live with them. Batman - stories should deal with fighting corruption, showing the difficulties people have when playing by the rules and why it is easy to slip into either a craze fighting the whole thing, or assimilate into it yourself (aka Harvey Dent). Wonder Woman - stories should deal with protecting the innocent of humanity, the role of the "warrior" in that cause and a healthy appreciation for the things she's protecting Flash - stories should deal with the fleeting nature of humanity and the value of its time, the joke is while he is the fastest man alive he constantly misses important events because he relies on that; even time travel can't make up for it as it changes everything Aquaman - stories should deal with man's relationship with nature, as he struggles to help us find a balance. Both can be unforgiving and cruel, but both have a lot to gain from each other as well. Cyborg - stories should deal with what what is the essence of a "human"; as his robot side is built out more and more, what things can he do to preserve that part of himself. And so on and so forth... While not a hard and fast rule, Marvel deals with the struggles of men gaining the powers of gods while the special sauce of DC is the recipe being the opposite with the struggles of gods learning to gain humanity.

I think the best way to incorporate batman in your first JL movie is to not... It sounds weird but let me explain. Batman shouldn't team up with Superman at first after the robot army. Batman should be arrogant almost and say "then stay out of my way" or something on these lines. The movie should continue with superman trying to round up the others while Batman refuses to join. Then eventually Batman would join them after everyone else is assembled.

I already like your take here because you do something that DC completely neglected: Building up the world and the Character. They were so concerned with playing catch-up to marvel, a race they could never win because their competition had a GIANT head start... They simply neglected everything. I got so tired of people telling me: "Well they do not have to do it like Marvel did it" when I questioned, over and over, why we do team ups before solo movies? And where did it get us? Right. How the hell is a Team Up, a Big Justice League Event supposed to work if we barely know anything about heroes or the world they inhabit? With the MCU, and love it or hate it... You know how it works. Every hero is defined. Clear and easy to follow. You never wonder: "Oh, will Iron Man kill this random bystander or not?". Meanwhile, in the DCEU... Pretty much every hero, sometime or later, does incredibly dickish, rude and downright villainous things. Safe for Shazam I guess. Like... If DEADSHOT is a better Hero than Superman and Batman? BOOOOOOY. OH BOOOOY And that is what always gets me: It was not a lack of chances, opportunities, interest, or anything like that. It was pure incompetence, greed, and laziness. Nothing else. Nobody ruined the DCEU but WB themselves. Not Joss Whedon, not the fans, not Zack... In the end, it is all on them. And they keep doing it. And I had to laugh so hard when I heard that they released the Snyder-Cut. Cause what did it change? Nothing. Hell, they call it the "Snyder-Verse". Think about it: The Franchise, he makes movies about, is so irrelevant at this point that HIS NAME is the name of the Cinematic Universe. How much more proof do you need of how utterly they have failed the characters they own? Then again... They never had a name for their Cinematic Universe to begin with so I guess who cares? "Who cares" The attitude of WB towards DC in a nutshell.

I really like this but I think it would be super cool if we had a show that gave us mini movies on smaller characters that I don't think work in a movie setting. Characters like booster gold, captain atom, the atom, the blue beetles transition to hyme and other smaller characters. Also I want blue beetle and kid flash in the teen titans

Great vision! I do also choose Brainiac as the Justice League villain and totally agree we should get a Green Lantern movie from the start. I think a great idea for a second Wonder Woman would use the Aztecs Gods, would be a interesting change, making she fights Tezcatlipoca and Circe, since she is his consort.

One small criticism I have is that two Superman villains Brainiac and Zod were used in the first two Justice League movies, it'd kind of be like if every other MCU villain was linked to Iron Man somehow, oh wait.

Dig your justice League and the way it introduces batman. The portrayal of batman is gold but I'd prefer we not know that it is him until that meeting with superman. Imagine the screams in the theatre when he shows up saying the line you made up as his first reveal after removing him from the trailers

Still confusing why the DCEU did not use the DC animated series as their framework. Instead, they keep capitalizing on the dark and edgy theme of Batman. It worked for Batman but for other characters like Superman, it does not seem to translate all that well. Man of Steel was ok but the theme just doesn't fit that much to Superman. They even double down on it on Batman v Superman which was a mess

Interesting approach. I personally would model my DCEU after the DCAU. I would start off with a Batman and Superman trilogies that would include The World’s Finest story. I would then do a Static Shock movie maybe along with a Green Lantern Corps movie. I would then do the first Justice League movie followed by spin-offs of Justice Leaguers that don’t already have their own movie. I would also probably introduce the New Gods. I would do Justice League sequels that set up Justice League Unlimited. I would do movies with Project Cadmus and The Legion of Doom as villains. In the end the JLU, Candmus, and Legion of Doom will have to team up to beat Darkseid. After this big movie I would do Batman Beyond movies that would lead into Justice League of the Future movies. If I do later phases, I would probably do The Legion of Superheroes based movies.

Here's a rough cut of phase one. The way i'd do it. Man of Steel 2013 (2 hrs) Act I: Goes thru the years of Zod and Jor-El working together. Zod wanting to be with Lora before she fell for and married Jor-El. The tense rivalry between Zod and Jor-El. And the final conflict on the dying planet. We see a blast go thru Jor-El. Jor-El dying in Zod's arms. Ends with Krypton blowing up. After Zod and his rebels are sentenced to the phantom zone. Act II: Origin. Clark becomes Superman. Saving lives and becoming the #1 celebrity in the world. Zod breaks out of the phantom zone. Act III: Superman fights Zod in the hour and 20 min mark. During the fight Zod reveals Kal-El's true home. And how Jor-El died in his arms. Brainiac is revealed to be controlling Zod. Ends with Superman and Zod working together to take down a giant Brainiac Robot. Zod sacrifices himself for Clark to escape and save the planet. Zod says to Clark he tried to save Jor-El. But no one would listen. Flashback to Brainiac being the one that shot Jor-El in the back from a security android. Zod ends his last words with "Don't fail them Kal-El. Don't fail them like i failed Krypton". Clark buries Zod in the sun(which in his ship is revealed to be the Kryptonian way). Post credit scene: Brainiac infiltrates Lexcorp. Helps Luthor make a suit. Wonderwoman 2014(same as the 2017 version) Suicide Squad. 2015(1 hr 45) Act I: Croc, Quinn, Deadshot, Boomerang escape Arkham multiple times. Amanda gives em a job. The Squad infiltrate other countries to retrieve intel. Boomerange is the hot head who keeps veering off the mission to steal valuables. He steals a statue. Joker is in the shadows trying to get Quinn back. Hires Victor Zasz to retrieve Harley. Act II: The Squad try to infiltrate Cadmus and find a way to disarm the bombs. Boomerange accidentally breaks the statue to unleash Enchantress who possesses Harley. Boomerang and Croc are killed at the end of act II. Deadshot has to work with Joker and Zasz to get Harley back. Enchantress takes out the bomb from Harleys ear. And thats the reason why Harley screams alot due to being half deaf. Act III: Zasz is killed. Joker and Deadshot fight off Enchantress and her minions. Enchantress purposes Joker and Deadshot to join her. Joker doesn't want anything from Enchantress. Enchantress pulls out the bomb from Deadshots eye and disarms it. Asks Deadshot to join her. Deadshot refuses. Deadshot gets his head torn off. Joker helps Harley break free. Harley hits the final blow into Enchantress. Joker and Harley embrace. A reflection of Harleys back is shown on a cracked mirror. Joker sees the tattoo which is a map for Arkham Asylum. He laughs with Harley. As everything explodes around them. CREDITS. Post credit scene: Luthor shows up in Amandas office. Talks to her about building a better team to get things back in order. 2016. Batman Hush under the red hood.(2 hrs 30) Switch Joker with Hush. Act I Batman saves Jason during a robbery. Jason's mom and dad are criminals who get killed in a cross fire. Batman trains Robin. Robin is rebellious and doesn't listen to Batman. 45 minute mark: Robin is taken by a new villain in Gotham. Hush. Act II Batman investigates Gotham. Looking for clues. Interrogating criminals(Penguin, Scarecrow and Poison Ivy). Gets help from Catwoman to find Robin. Robin dies. 1 hour 20 minute mark: Hushes Origin is revealed and is locked up in Arkham. Act III 2 years have passed. Batman is patrolling the city. Catwoman and Batman are married. There has been a break out in Arkham. A new villain named The Red Hood kidnaps Tommy Elliot. Batman does the detective work. Catwoman and Bruces child gets kidnapped. Batman finds out about Ras Al Ghul resurrecting Jason. Because they saw Jason as being the one to lead the League. But Jason went Rogue. Batman finds Jason in the Docks where Batman saved Jason the very first time. Batman and Jason fight. Jason ends up killing Hush. Quickly regrets it "I didn't mean it..." Batman hugs Jason. Jason is taken away to Arkham. Jason is taken to his cell. And he's sharing a room with The Joker. Batman and Catwoman spring to action. CREDITS. Post Credit Scene: Jason is in his cell with the Joker. Joker says "Don't be sad. I know a way out porkchop. He opens the vent. And gets a crowbar out. Looks at a piece of skin(it's Harley Quinn's back skin) that has a map tattoo on it. And he breaks thru the wall. Finds a walky talky. And escapes Arkham with Jason. He's greeted by Luthor. Joker kills the pilot. "I wanna fly". Joker laughs as he flies the helicopter away. 2017 Batman & Superman: The Dark Tomorrow(2 hrs 45) Act I: Luthor buys The Daily Bugle. Luthor wants to be able to control the media and spread rumors about Bruce and Selina(who are having troubles Selina leaves Gotham with their Kid). Clark feels threatened by Lex taking Lois in alot of missions and showing too much interest in her. Batman tries to stop the Joker from a star labs infiltration. Joker throws Harley. Batman saves Harley so he can escape. Joker breaks into Lex's office. Saying he could help. Joker was able to get Kryptonite. Joker joins forces with Luthor. Act II: Joker breaks into a Bank. Waits for Superman. "Was wondering when you would show up". Gets into a fight with Superman. Joker is wearing a robot suit. Takes down Superman. Batman does detective work. And exposes to the world the corrupt Lex Corp. Luthor uses Superman to make Bizarro. Batman breaks into Lex Corp. Gets is ass whooped by Bizarro. Escapes. Act III: Bruce travels to Paris to look for Wonderwoman in the hour and 45 min mark. Batman and Wonderwoman fly back to Metropolis to fight Luthor, Joker and Bizarro. Catwoman makes a return at the end to help release Superman. Batman, Superman and Wonderwoman defeat the villains. Catwoman says she needs more time away. Superman says he might need their help in the future. So he'd like Wonderwoman and Batman to keep intouch. Batman gives em a communicator. Says only for emergencies. Post Credit Scene: Batman is in the Batcave. Takes off his mask. "Hey Bruce". Nightwing is behind him.
