Do I need to remove rust to the bare metal before spraying?
@CarAddictGarageNE10 ай бұрын
@M.N9 it’s always best to clean as best as you can before applying

Great video, thanks for sharing your knowledge. I took a look at getting my car professionally Waxoyled, @£500, but think I'll just do it myself :) Thanks for the tips :)

Wow who is charging £500, that seams very over priced.

Good man for showing us, what a chap! Can the full exhaust be done too?
@CarAddictGarageNE2 жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching 👍🏼 This was one of my first videos, have started using Langoguard fantastic product. It’s in my latest #55 part 1 and 2 weekly Vlog just covered it on there. No with waxoil but you can put this latest product on the exhaust mainly at the back, front sections get too hot for any kind of protection

I thought all waxoyl was clear, but obviously not. I'd prefer this as well, I've owned cars that previous owners covered in black gloop and it didn't help anything imo
@CarAddictGarageNE2 жыл бұрын
No they do clear and black. Definitely not that black gloop is a total waste of time traps the moisture in, have a look on my latest videos I think end of #40 daily Vlog 👍🏼

What cure rust would you recommend? I’m going to do this to my 20 year old Volvo
@CarAddictGarageNE8 ай бұрын
Clear waxoyl is very good, Lanoguard is also good and easy to work with. As for KuRust Hammerite do it works a treat as base coat

Just watched your video on under seal/wax, how much would you take to do a Toyota Alphard? Cheers
@CarAddictGarageNE2 жыл бұрын
I’m uk based assume that’s some kind of big MPV….. I would go for the 5L can the waxoyl you use in a pressurised air applicator using a compressor, would be on a very long time with aerosols. If you have a look at some of my newer videos have been using some stone chip that covers very well, just depends how much under body corrosion there is to how far you go with it. Thanks for watching
