Examples - my ancient car broke down in 2005 when i was on summer holiday; - sometimes in the kitchen, a glass of tea is cracked and a mug of porcelain get shattered; - After using a hammer to fixe some piece, we got dents in the wood; - my friend busted his cellphone three times this year. - in 1968, fortunately there was not a building that had collapsed in Casablanca's earthquake.
