A good way to test if your granite counter needs sealing is to drop some water on your surface. If they stay beaded up then your sealer is doing its job. If they start to spread and seep into the surface, then it’s time to re-apply your granite sealer.
It’s important not to let the granite or marble sealer completely dry on the surface. This will leave a hazy residue. If this happens, just apply a bit more granite sealer.
