If I don't use all the yogurt, can I keep the whole earthen pot in the fridge for a few days or should I remove the yogurt in another container?

Before watching this video, I bought a clay pot and soaked it in water overnight. On another day I made milk slightly hotter than lukewarm and added curd. While checking the next day it was still in the form of milk. What went wrong?

If you are experiencing difficulties in making curd, it could be due to insufficient warmth. It is important to note that overheating can also kill the culture. Another reason could be the curd culture being inactive or not enough in quantity. Additionally, the fermentation time could be inadequate. During summers, fermentation usually takes less than 6 hours. Whereas in winters, it can take longer, around 8 hours or more. To troubleshoot this, it is recommended to use a thermometer to ensure the right temperature, use fresh curd culture and allow for longer fermentation time. Hope this helps.

The curd you used may not have live culture. This has happened with me too.
