So I have an iPhone 15 pro using iOS 18.0.1. When I go to the app Passwords, and Search “apple” and nothing comes up. Now I am already signed in to iCloud and Apple ID .. so what am I doing wrong?

This wrongly assumed you have requested to save your password to iCloud Keychain at some point in the past via entry into Safari iCloud or Apple ID website.

Because you didn’t allow the app password to save it which is a good thing. Only idiots save the password to the password app of the device that has the password. If somebody accesses the phone he can see your password now how dumb would that be!
