Hey UnrealCG is it posible you can teach upon something like this, how to render an object on top of other objects. For example instead of rendering a color show the actual 3D model not being oclude by what is in front of it

Can you do a video or upload a version of this material using this kind of effect but where the characters behind meshes aren't shown? I'm really having issues with custom depth and stencil and can't wrap my head around it.

I realized that this effect impacts a lot in the performance. How to avoid the low framerate? This is really an important question.

Hello, i dont know if i can ask a request, but i have one: You recreated Hog's hook ability already, so would you recreate Windowmaker grapple hook? Or you can recreate spiderman web swing (it is very similiar to grapple Hook), and if possible, create for a third person, not First Person. Thx.

Excellent tutorial for a very promising feature. Thanks a lot! I would like to suggest an adjustment: I do not agree with the parameter B of the flip flop. If the game always remains in improved vision, the player does not have to memorize anymore and your game become ugly. I preferred to put a 5 second delay before recalling the timeline. At the same time, I blocked the command so that it would not be pressed during these 5 seconds with a variable. To respond to a comment above, I wonder if we could not reduce the number of Lerps to optimize this effect. Note for myself: I would like to spawn objects in enhanced vision that we wouldn't see without it.

Nice. Is there any way to do x-ray just on objects/characters? And not on scene depth? A bit like batman x-ray vision that shows the outline of the character and the skeleton inside a character.

I noticed you always need a a light source to see the outline, is there anyway to do it without a light source? like if an area is dark with no light a player can hide and not be seen

How can I get this to work with custom stencil 0? I'm trying to make this work with your outlines tutorial. Thanks EDIT: wasn't able to get it working with custom stencil 0 on the objects, BUT, I was able to get the scene color to use for the custom stencil 0 outline in your other tutorial, so that there's seems to be no effect from either post process on custom stencil 0. Works perfectly now, I added 24 colors to each, but staggered, using the outline post process for stencils 1-12 and 25-36, and using the vision mode post process for stencils 13-36, so that if you want to use your outlines in vision mode, you can set the stencil value to any value between 25 and 36, and if you want to use your vision mode without outlines, you can set the highlighted items to any value between 13 and 24. GREAT TUTORIAL!

Now the deal is I'm having a problem with this effect when I export to Android the game...the screen is totally blocked by a texture something like a wall of bricks...I don't know what to do!!!
