The sales taxes is a pain. I used to sell on Amazon and had to register and file with several states. I did the filing manually. Tax Jar is a great option. Most of my sales came from California.

"Better" is all relative. I don't like to compare because it really depends on keywords you find that sell best on the various sites. "Better" to me may be worse to someone else. It's all relative.

Again, thank you, so much for ALL that you do! You mentioned a CPA, but not IRS. Why? I was raised to believe IRS was the "Boogie Man" but because I've earned "poor" wages most of my life, I've had no choice but to go to them, and they've always been courteous, and informative. The one time I made a great salary, they were still a big help, and did better for me than the one year I used a CPA. Because I've always preferred going straight to the source, wouldn't IRS be more likely to guide/direct me, correctly, if I did seek them out for help? After all, they do want their money. Are there advantages of going to a CPA, rather than IRS? Please forgive my ignorance. Just curious. Thank you, again!

They are both relevant but the IRS is not going to help you with your taxes. They just want to make sure you PAY your taxes. A CPA will make sure you report your earnings for the IRS so you don't get in trouble. They go in hand in hand. The whole point of contacting a CPA is so you don't get in trouble with the IRS and file your taxes properly. :-)

Well you could hide your listing on Etsy temporarily, but why would you want to? You aren't doing the fulfillment so that's up to Printful to keep up. And if you mean because of having to pay for the base cost upfront, well you will still be making a profit ultimately. It will just take a few days to get your money from Etsy. So as long as you have enough money in your account, I wouldn't worry about throttling orders. Just make sure you have a few hundred or more in your account. And by the time you get to the 100 shirts at once order level, you'll probably be making good money anyway. So as long as you aren't spending a lot, you should always have money in that account. Just my thoughts.

Great video. Do you offer returns or exchanges? Seems like it could get a bit confusing if someone wants to return or exchange something.

Printful does not offer exchanges so I would highly recommend making sure this is mentioned on your listing. If someone contacts me and is not happy I just refund them. It's a loss but overall it's been a very small percentage so as long as I'm profitable that's all that matters.

They would return it to Printful, but Printful has a very strict return policy so you have to be prepared to eat the cost and refund in most cases. They don't accept returns for wrong sizing. Make sure you read the terms. I wish I had remembered to say this in the video.

I would say between $20 and $22 dollars. I like to use the least expensive shirt for best profit margin. Women like the V necks but they are more expensive. Thanks for watching!

Hi Lisa, thanks for a great video! :) Do you know how to set up different shipping options like USPS First class, USPS Priority etc. other than the default $5 flat rate? I'd love to give my customers the cheapest option and one or two more options that are faster. I am looking at the holiday deadlines on Printful but don't understand how a customer chooses those options or how I provide them on my Etsy listings. A lot of new sellers I've talked to are wondering about this but there seem to be no videos/articles on this subject.

Definitely sell everything you can. The more products you have out there, the more exposure potential. I sell tapestries, canvas art, posters, throw blankets, stickers and more in my niche shop on RedBubble.
