Just bought a 2007 Peterbilt with a Thermo King APU. Not sure of the model yet. My friend said to service it before I ran it. I had no idea how to do it until I saw your awesome video. Thank you!

Great Video. With the price of Deisel in 2022 I can’t afford to keep idling my truck. And I recently did a overhaul on my motor in Nov of 2021. So an APU is a no brained at this point. Thanks Again For The Video.

Video saved me a bunch of money. Wish there was a cut off valve at the filter to keep the line from draining. Had to Crack each line to get the air out of the lines. It would have been easier with the proper tube wrench. But gotter done. Thanks.

There is a fuel screen right on the front behind the front middle panel. It’s like a tiny up side Davco that you spin off and clean with carburetor cleaner and put back in.

Hey is there some type of shut off valve for the fuel? When I took the fuel filter off there was a constant drip off fuel coming out until I was able to get the new filter on. It was pretty steady so not sure if that's normal or if there is some type of shut off for the fuel. Thanks
@DIYSEMI3 жыл бұрын
I've only had one truck so far that has a shut off. It's normal for fuel to drip...as long as it's not major enough to lose your prime

What are the size if filters for service on tripac evolution
@am.b56883 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the great video, but we should avoid to pour diesel directly to the middle hole of the fuel filter because it needs to go through the filter for filtering, so i think we need to fill the smaller holes on the side of the filter. Am i wrong?
@DIYSEMI3 жыл бұрын
That's how I do it. I may have over filled it trying to hold a camera and filter and fuel all at once. All filters should be filled thru the small holes even oil

What size filter wrench do you use for both filters
@DIYSEMI4 жыл бұрын
Not sure of the measurements. An automotive size band wrench will fit. Or a strap wrench will fit many size filters. You can probably get these off by hand with no wrench

Please help, SB 330 - SR3 - holds 32 degrees PERFECT, but when I set to 33* it always holds it around 35 to 37 degrees
@DIYSEMI3 жыл бұрын
What are you reading for supply and discharge temps when that is happening?
@rickblaga92873 жыл бұрын
How do I get that information? Also even when empty, it will pull down to 33 and then not hold 33, just slowly rises 3-5 degrees higher on continuous, 32 holds 32 perfect But 33, 34 on cont, rises up??
@rickblaga92873 жыл бұрын
@@DIYSEMI after further investigation it seems eve at 32* it is rising, so no matter which temp I choose continuous, it rises 3 to 4 degrees and stays there
