How to service your Fox shock air can

Al makes that look so easy. Getting that last white bushing to go into the air can is a #@$%! for me always. Also like the idea about putting the float fluid above and below the shock seal.

well the hardest thing is to get some fox fluid in a small city. The price with the shipping is more than a service in a shop, but if you let them do every maintenance tasks, than you'll never understand how your bike really works.

one video says put just a nickel sized blob of Float Fluid in the air can, this one puts one half the sachet in one side of the can and the other half in the other (half on each side of seal inside when screwed on). I'm opting for this, seems more logical.

Do the dampers on these ever need service, or just the air sleeve?

My air can shell just keeps spinning and I can’t get it off... I squeeze the can as hard as I can and I’m using a strap wrench. Any ideas???

How about the o-ring in the eyelet? How come that wasn't replaced in the video?

I think the O-ring in the eyelet is the bottom out bumper. Does not need replacing in a normal shock service.

Absolutely useless video as my outer sleeve just spins why not actually show how to get it off if this happens can’t actually grip below due to the shape
