I have.a p200 and wondered how I can avoid brake assembly when lifting frame as you demonstrated?
@palmssr23 күн бұрын
I had the same issue / question and solved it by using a 6 x 3.5 x 33 cm piece of wood between the jack and cross member to clear the brake assembly. At the start you will need to put the jack in at a slight angle as the center stand gets in the way but as you lift up and the center stand gets out of the way you can carefully bump-slide the jack to go more directly across. Important is to use the cross member to support the scooter on the jack, as Robot suggested. When I tried to lift just on the floorboard alone I noticed it was going to leave some indentations on the floorboard edges.

Hello Robot, I live in the Netherlands. I like your videos. They are very helpfull. I drive a GTS 300 touring 2012. I have to replace the front fender. Do you have or could you make a video about how to replace the front fender? Ciao Adolfo

Hey, Robot, thanks for all the videos; they're really useful. I've just started to strip down my father's 1960s Sportique 150, which has been in his barn since 1974! However, the front engine mounting bolt seems to be seized to the mounting tube, so I can't get it out to remove the engine. Do you have any hints on the best way ahead? Angle grinder on the bolt head? Or on the tube/bolt between the frame and swingarm? Any ideas would be great, as I've tried heat/WD40/hammers and drifts etc, and nothing's shifting. Many thanks, Iain

buckets of water make good impromptu counterweights on your chock
Great info, as always. BTW, any tips for tuning using strandard cylinder as basis for more hp? Cuz in south east asia aftermarket cylinder such as mallosi, polini etc are more expensive than the vespa itself
