If you miss by one tooth how far is the crank pin displaced? Is it enough to be obvious. I ask this because with auto engines you cannot eyeball tdc accurately.

Well you saw the play when I had it installed due to the gear pitch. So it is very obvious when it is off by one tooth. Besides the method I show, if done properly, cannot be wrong. That is the point of using the tool to hold the gear in place.

No, the 300T is not an odd fire engine. it is a boxer style engine. The timing is much easier on the 300T.

@@dmrcflyr2 I know how to set the os twin engine timing which need the dot-dot match. However, saito 300T has two timing gear on opposite position. No idea how to refer the os twin engine timing. Pls advise. Thanks
