Could anyone please let me know if I need an air pump for my res turtle? I currently have the whisper air pump and it produces a lot of bubbles. Not sure if that’s good or not it, thanks

Hi, you do not need an air pump for your turtle. It can just be a good way to keep your turtle entertained. I haven't tried the whisper air pump before, but having a lot of bubbles in the tank is normal when you have an air pump.

do you put lamp at 100% brightness? and how far do you put the light?

That’s a great question. For my light, I put it at around 75% brightness and 6-8 inches away from the basking platform. The key is to make it so the basking platform is between 90-95 degrees Fahrenheit. I use a thermometer to make sure.
