This is only for lamping and night vision with a .22 or .17hmr, so only ranges of 30-70 yards realistically. It's perfectly stable for that sort of shooting.

At the start, very poor form with leaving a bullet in the chamber, then riding off with an unsecured firearm. Leave bolt open, never rely on a safety, especially when it is unsecured, riding a quad bike, and especially doing this at night. Very unsafe method.

UPDATE: Cyclops lamp killed the stator on quad, so not recommended. Started using it in the car & the switch burnt out after 10 minutes of intermitent use. Total rubbish...
