Is this year 2007 , what’s going on with Miele development for easy set up in 2020 , Bluetooth or zigbee in few seconds , and support for google assistant etc . Please step up Miele , especially in this price range

Did it on the 99th attempt... or how many times you try over 3 days. Finally fluked it. Having now achieved what felt like the impossible it prob' wasn't worth the effort for what it does. BTW the machine washes well and the matching Tumble Dryer is very good. They should sell it without the WiFi.

Miele, come on. Good products but this is old school programming and almost does not work at all. Have used many hours to connect your products with the app. Horrible.

Can this feature be turned off? I want to minimize the number of devices spraying me with wifi when I'm at home (the one place I have relatively more control over that).

Sinds de vernieuwing van het logo en app upgrade werkt deze niet meer zoals het zou moeten. En zo te zien ben ik niet de enige die er problemen mee heeft.Er komt gn hulp of reactie van de ontwikkelaar of Miele zelf. Heel erg ontgoocheld.

At the last step it says cant connect the miele to the wifi, but actually it is connected. Just exit the app and go back into the app and there you see it is connected. The app needs to be updated though, this has to be a bug.

Helping friends setup their very expensive Miele Twindos machine with the purpose of checking out if I will buy one as well. Not a chance, this is simply the worst setup experience on any device. We never succeeded in connecting the washing machine to the app and after several days of trying we started getting "server unavaillable". Unbelievable. The tumbler of a different make standing right next to the Miele was setup to app and WiFi in less than a minute.

Is the network only 5Ghz, or is it dual band? This, like many smart home systems, needs 2.4GHz to connect. Many appliances fail to connect if they only see 5GHz. See if ensuring you have 2.4GHZ works.

@@hclmed Yes, there is 5 and 2.4 GHz wifi available with separate SSIDs. The other product only supports 2.4.

2022-01-17. New Miele Dishwasher. The machine works great but the app, well they should just stop offering it. They have made great improvements to the way the app connects over this video but it still is worthless. It found and connected my dishwasher no problem. However, to control it you need to "Activate MobileStart". I have read the instructions both on the app and in the user manual. There is no such setting that I can find. The app says "Activate the MobileStart button". There is no such button. Bottomline, great machine as long as you don't want to use the app. I called support, they were worthless. Call center in India. Told me to use the Miele support site. Yeah, like I hadn't thought of that already.

Washing machine, speed oven and dishwasher and after 6 attempts I have nothing to show for the hours wasted. Very, very, dissappointed.

Couldn’t get my G6820 dishwasher to connect via the app to my iPhone...i just gave up trying 🙄
