I’m moving out in to an apartment in May with my partner for the first time, we’re both students going into our 4th year. This video was really helpful as up until now we’ve only ever experienced bills included in rent. I look forward to looking around and getting a decent deal on our gas, electric, water and WiFi! do you believe companies such as fused bills are worth me and my flatmate using?

They can be, most bill companies are worth using if you don't want the hassle of doing your own bills. If there are only two and you are good friends and willing to go 50/50 then you could do it yourselves. It's more complex when there are 5/6 people in a house. I would definitely recommend shopping around for different bill companies because some charge, some don't, and they all have different offerings as well.
