I have seen this but why can't Printful not offer the packaging as "raw material" and print the logos then on demand. It's not really comfortable to involve another supplier into the whole procedure. Apart from that, the fees seem to be to high for this service

@@PrintfulCustomPrinting Maybe it is an idea to sell custom tape? I have been looking for custom tape that allows many colors, but was unsuccessful. With custom tape, packages would be customized, storage would be easy, and making it is relatively easy.

i would love to have custom packaging but after this video , i decide not for now. to complicated. i thought we can print on your white label poly bags. and the storage of 25 euros for 50 - 100 bags as a beginner is by far to expensive .

Cant believe 2 years later and this is still an issue that you can’t customise your own packaging in a design website. Create a new product page with bubble mailer in different colours and print the logo on it! Then add this to the order fee? Print on shirts hoodies decor bur cant do packaging… Bring fulfilment centre to Australia as well. What’s the point in integrating into Amazon if it’s still difficult to apply for GTIN. I got excited thinking I could do Brand packaging but no I can’t.

Very cool! Will there be an in-between option coming out? Not quite sending in own packaging level, but not quite plain white level? It would even be great if we could just pick out the plain color of the packaging, like black rather than white. Or blue. or pink. Or brown paper rather than plastic. Love this! Merp... not sure the logistical commitment is worth the trouble for dropshippers or PF. Ya'll should have devoted the resources used for this program to actually deliver what the dropshippers wanted - a simple process that would allow branded packaging directly from PF. Jumping through hoops aint my thang.

Would love this but it's too much to consider. I think all the considerations will put most people off (myself inc) which ultimately is a lost sale for Printful. If I get my own packaging made then surely I would have to get several sizes for the different products - T Shirts, Hoodies etc etc. Why Printful can't provide the different packaging to begin with and we can upload our design/logo and we can pay for the service if we want it?

Hi, thanks for your feedback! If you want to use custom packaging with Printful, you’ll have to order it in bulk from a supplier and send it to us. At the moment, you can send in custom poly mailers and bubble mailers, but we’ll accept more packaging options in the future! Currently, there's no ETA for us to offer our own custom packaging.

Hey! We will automatically package your orders in custom packaging, but in order for us to do that, you have to send the custom packaging to our warehouses. We don't print custom packaging, but you can source it from suppliers like Sticker Mule, Arka, and PackHelp. 😊

Apologies if this is a stupid question, but when you say 'can only be used on 'single-product orders only'...do you literally mean only if someone buys ONE product?! So if someone orders 2 tees and they fit inside the larger mailer, they won't be used?! That seems crazy to me, so hopefully I'm misinterpreting this?! Thanks!

While blank products are sourced from other countries, they're still fulfilled in our fulfillment centers in the US and Europe. Therefore you'd need to send your custom packaging to our fulfillment locations. 😉

While it's unlikely that we'll be able to fully eliminate plastic from our packaging in the nearest future, we're actively working to provide sustainable packaging for our products without losing the protective qualities. In the last 2 years, we have worked to reduce our overall environmental impact by switching to triangular boxes for posters to eliminate plastic end caps, switching to eco-poly mailers with 30%-50% recycled content, implementing paper mailers for phone cases in the NC, and many more. Changes in our packaging will be gradual and ever-evolving, however, this new feature allows sending in your own packaging. This means that you can store biodegradable or any other type of eco-friendly mailers with us.

If I want to have different pack ins I would select a company you work with (make it like Shopify where I connect that company's app) I do the design on there website and I select which printful wearhouse I want to send it to and they send it out after I pay. Ngl this sucks balls! The fact that you have to pay an extra fee and also storage prices which is like 25 dollars per month for packing is crazy to me. The prices for your products (shirts hoodies joggers) are already sky bloody high once you finish adding all your designs labels and stuff without tax so it’s really not affordable for people just starting their business. Hi, thanks for the feedback! :) We are always looking for ways how to improve more sustainable packaging, for posters, we started using triangular boxes to replace tubes with plastic end caps. As a next step, we've started using packaging made of post-consumer recycled plastics for all apparel orders shipped from our in-house facilities. :)

This seems pointless. We pay the $25 monthly fee, and if an order is fulfilled from a warehouse that doesn’t even stock your packaging, it gets shipped with out your custom brand packaging that you not only paid for, sourced, shipped, and paid for storage fees. Make it make sense 🤦🏻‍♂️
