Great tutorial. I remember downloading this on my previous computer, mainly to adjust fan speeds, because the dang thing sounded like it had an afterburner and could take off at any second. All the settings were a little overwhelming at first, but guys like you make it much easier to understand. Also looks like it's come a long ways in 6 years.

I just want to say that I've watched A Ton of benchmarks etc and I saw that the biggest names use this software. I tried it and failed. Had no idea what I was doing. Decided it wasn't worth the 10m I used and gave up. Then you posted this video. Another 10m and I'm happy with what I learned. Thank you techdweeb! Specs and Temps are something I pay attention to when watching others videos including yours. I love watching the specs. Old systems, new, it's all fascinating. I had trouble watching my data when undervotling. Constantly switching tabs to the correct software...it wasn't smooth. This is by far the best way to do this. Also,if your a noob like me you need to actually be in a game for this software to take place. I was trying to pull it up on my desktop 😂

Make sure you bind the 'recording' hotkey correctly, or try a different hokey if yours doesn't work, and make sure those are set to display the same way you set the fps to display.

after i install msi afterburner it dosent show my cpu temp my cpu cooler rpm its dosent show anything. like your 02:06 min its show nothing like your showing ram speed cpu temp etc

Make sure you close the afterburner settings window, sometimes when you have that open it won't work.

There is a scaling option in Riva Tuner. It's called "On-screen display zoom". You can change the size of the whole overlay

There are no overlay hotkeys set by default. You can set them yourself through the MSI afterburner settings (like I show here).

Kudos brother, you're a lifesaver. I've been wondering which GPU does my Lenovo gaming laptop is using while I'm in gaming mode. There's 2 GPUs: AMD which is integrated and the other one is discrete GTX 1650. Now I'm curious if Lenovo has some kind of smart switch that enables discrete Nvidia high performance chip whenever I fired up my games. Those only display when you are running in benchmark mode, so you will need to bind a key to start and stop the benchmark logging.
