If I set up a routine where it comes on at a certain time, and then slowly starts turning off a couple hours later (via Bluetooth) and during that time I leave the premises with my phone, will it still function as set up?

@@alexmcdonald104 I remember finding something in the instructions with the bulbs that said if they don't connect then there was a trick. Like flipping the lights on for a few seconds and off for a second and then back on or some ridiculousness. I haven't had time to go look for it again yet but that's how I was able to get it to connect last time. But it's been 2 years and I'm not looking forward to going through all that again.

Sorry, but these instructions seem to be outdated or the app has changed. There's no option to add a Bluetooth light bulb. There's only one option to just add a light. It's apparently trying to look on the bridge for new lights.

Yeah I have absolutely none of the color changing options in the app. It has a bunch of "scenes" that don't even change the color. I've been looking everywhere and I've yet to find a solution as to why there's no option for me to manually adjust the colors for the lightbulb.

You probably don't have the colour bulb - e.g. with mine I can only change the brightness and colour temperature (from white to warm yellowish-orange)

It's just the philips hue app. Either you can connect with a bridge or without by bluetooth
