How To Set Up Your Kiteboarding/Kitesurfing Gear

This is the first of my How To Kiteboard/Kitesurf tutorial series. I teach you how to pump up your kite, rig your lines, and set up your board and harness. Remember, kiteboarding can be a very dangerous sport and this tutorial does not replace a real-life instructor. I still recommend taking a lesson.

hehehe..the other day i self launched my kite with one of the out side lines twisted around the center line...in cape town howling south eater wind....was quite the experience ...as my kite dove like a fighter jet out of hell to the right... as i realized the error of my haste...i was brought down to me knees...and then dragged half way down the beach...

😳 so scary! Glad you survived 😅 definitely had my fair share of bridles wrapping around the wing tips on self launching. I found that walking your line downwind first and pulling tension all the way around prevents it! You can check your lines before launching this way too! Dying to make it out to Cape Town though!
