I know this is an older video but I thought I’d just let you know about the humidity these guys have to deal with in the Middle East, most of the time here it’s a dry heat with minimal humidity but there are times after it rains that they can experience a very high level of humidity, it’s not common but I don’t imagine that it’s bad for them in any way as long as it doesn’t happen too often. Thanks for the great content btw🙏

Your getting great temps with that combo and by FAR it is the best combo to use. Halogen for a nice bright IR-A rich projection and DHP to fill in the missing IR-B. Fantastic! Always use real stone wherever possible, not only is it sturdy and provides climbing enrichment, but it also helps keep nails trim and as you rightly point out will retain heat readily. This is the both reflected in part and stored for release via convection into the long wavelengths of IR as warm air, just like our actual sun. Plant grow T5s are not that bright in terms of replicating the levels of lux seen from natural sun. LED Bar is approx. 3-6 times brighter and will life lux levels to that of around midmorning natural sunlight. This is brighter than has been possible before and we do see an increase in natural behaviour when LED Bar is used. Keep in mind that 'All light is energy', therefore there is a use for visible light in the right quantity just as much as is there for UV and IR. We are learning LOTS more about the importance of Lux right now. Exciting times.
@MikeTytula4 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the knowledge John! I will definitely be sending you my heating video for your input before I post it, and make some changes based on your feedback. The LED bars are also like 2-3 times the price especially for that size, but I will slowly be buying more and upgrading more of the tanks in the future!
