Using Streamlabs Cloudbot Loyalty Rewards to make alerts appear on your stream that they can redeem with loyalty points. This is is a way for viewers to trigger gif, video, audio events on your Twitch or Mixer live stream leveraging Cloudbot, Alertbox and your Loyalty Store in Cloudbot.

Oh I have the SLOBS Prime so I get a custom store website like dragonbloggers.live/cloudbot if you dont' have SLOBS Prime you have to find your general store page which would be like streamlabs.com/dragonbloggers/cloudbot replace dragonbloggers with your twitch channel name. Then just leave SLOBS open to see the alerts come up in real time.

Thank you for your kind words, I just have a habit of sharing what I figure out with others in case it helps them. It took me a lot of time and figured I couldn't be the only one trying to solve this. I had to work with SLOBS support and ask questions on their discord and piece together a whole bunch of trial and error to get things the way I wanted but it worked! I just wish you can re-sort store items so I can put the highest cost ones last, but there is no sorting you have to create them in the order you want them to display so keep that in mind.

Assuming you have it check marked that redeem from chat is allowed, they have to do !redeem "rewardname" and you have to make sure Cloudbot is already added as a bot to your channel so it can read chat.

the only problem is there's one setting for the length of all the redeems, so all your alerts will be as long as your longest alert and will just keep looping without sound.

Whatever your streamlabs URL is just add /cloudbot at the end, I pay for custom domain so for me it's dragonbloggers.live/cloudbot But if you don't pay for custom URL it should be streamlabs.com/yourchannelname/cloudbot

Did you make Cloudbot a moderator on your channel, you can try cycling cloudbot on and off again too. One other thing is it takes at least 15-20 minutes for a new user to show up and start receiving their first points. If you did all that email me screenshots of your streamlabs cloudbot setup and your Twitch channel name and I will take a look when I have time. You could also join Streamlabs Discord and ask their support for help too.

Hmm, not that I have noticed, what do you mean by reset? did you try turning cloudbot off and on again to see if it picks up. Periodically cloudbot will not track properly (adding points to users) and needs to be turned off and on.

So if i set up the loyalty points the same way, would i need to set up any links in my OBS scenes? Or the redemption alerts would just come on my screen like I saw in your tutorial?

These default commands are found under cloudbot, streamlabs.com/dashboard#/cloudbot/commands/default and any custom commands, the default is !points to see how many points someone has but you can add aliases to make other commands show as well. There is no way to have a user show all commands with like a !commands, I wish there was, so you have to list out all commands users can use on your Twitch panel. Or a way to show all stuff they can redeem in store via command line, but there just is no way, you can look at my panels at twitch.tv/dragonbloggers to see how I list out commands and store items.

Yeah it should work for both, as long as you have the cloudblot/streamlabs as your mod on Mixer and you have the browser source for the alertbox setup for SLOBS/OBS streaming and mixer.

Oh, you have to actually record like a blank no audio file I have a silence.mp3 file which is basically no audio at all just a mute 5 second recording. This is a way to trick it out. Just use Audacity free audio software to record silence and export it as mp3 for a few seconds.

Check under your Alerts > Cloudbot Alerts do you have Replace product image with custom image checkmarked? If so and no image is defined, you will not get any product image but still hear alert sound definitions. But it means if you have a mix of redeemable alerts with visual and audio elements you will never see the visual elements.

Okay, so if I am understanding you, they select the reward from store, and the wrong thing is popping up in alert or nothing is popping up right? I had this initial problem where it wasn't configured because a "defaut" was set and it override your store items, or if you accidentally forget to check "show reward when redeemed" it won't show on stream.

Not show up less frequently, but Global Cooldown reduces the amount of times the could be redeemed period, compared to just user cooldown on each item so they can't be triggered or redeemed until global cooldown timer runs out.

Yes, the thumbnail image and sound alert are what shows up in your Stream live if you have the alert configured that way. They would have to do !redeem "reward" and it will trigger the gif+sound if you have it configured in the alert. SO if you have the gif and sound defined in your reward, then go into your streamlabs.com/dashboard#/alertbox#loyalty_store_redemption and make sure "Cloudbot Redemption Alerts is enabled, Replace product image with custom image is unchecked. Make sure "Enable Custom HTML/CSS" is disabled, makes sure you have no audio file defined or it will override.

Yes, I left my client open and it will trigger and sound even if you aren't streaming you can hear it. I am not sure why, but it comes across on desktop audio.

If you are the channel owner, just give yourself points in the Cloudbot Loyalty database :) Just add a couple thousand points to your own Twitch account that is the host. Click on Cloudbot, Click on Loyalty, search for your own account and add whatever points you need to test.

For cloudbot you have to have the !redeem part, can't not use it. But you can use a service called Triggerfyre which can do very similar audio/visual alert popups that redeem and use Twitch Loyalty instead of Cloudbot loyalty overlays.thefyrewire.com/widgets/triggerfyre/ and those could be done with just !keyword trigger without any !redeem in front.

Yes if you sign into Streamlabs with your KZbin account and link it, it should you will get a YT Channel link for Streamlabs and have to add that as a moderator for your YT channel so it has access to comments for commands and such. I have never used Cloudbot with KZbin personally but it says it supports and there are many video tutorials that appear to show it does.

OBS Studio by itself is only streaming software, so if you are using Streamlabs Cloudbot and set this all up. Then use that "alert browser source" in OBS Studio, then yes it will display it all in OBS Studio.

Unfortunately not, redeem via chat just means you can redeem via chat, nothing posts a message to chat when something is redeemed that I can find. An alternative service to do redeems for alerts with video/audio is triggerfyre but that uses Twitch loyalty instead of Cloudbot loyalty, it is very effective and I use that as well. That will post in the chat when someone redeems it.

YT is more liberal with creative use, you may get a no monetize if detected, but you won't get copyright strike. Substantially just alter the sound, use an audio program to modify the octive or use the video clip but record your own audio over it, really helps.

Okay, so this isn't as easy as it should be. But you obviously choose sound right in your Loyalty STore (and it FORCES you to pick an image). So you can just create a transparent image. I will even give you a link to one here to use: imgur.com/a/dohqCBZ (click on .... and download image) This makes the image go away and just have a sound while setting an image. 2nd, you have to switch your Alerts to V2 (top right) and then you have to disable message for Cloudbot Loyalty Redeem (global) image to do that here: imgur.com/gallery/ClzphIa However, I prefer to use Triggerfyre for my Twitch loyalty rewards and sound alerts personally, it is a separate system and this way it doesn't cost the more valuable Cloudbot loyalty. You can see how this looks on my channel Twitch.tv/dragonbloggers and click on the eggs at bottom of chat.

You could do it either way, if you want instant redeem they can get a code instantly you can have the same code show to anyone and limit the number of times, or put in a pool of random codes and give 1 to each person. Or you could add the extra step so to redeem they have to enter an email so you can email them the code separately.

Switch back to alertbox v1 as alertbox v2 is being shut down by Streamlabs and no longer availalble. You will have to reach out to Streamlabs support if you can't switch back to alertbox v1 ,it used to just be a link to switch. Streamlabs removed the ability to switch to V2 this week, so it no longer is an option.

I get my images/gifs/stock from variety of places including DepositPhotos (have subscription), creativecommons, giphy...etc. In some cases I bought Fiverr gigs to have stuff created.

@@proste_ondraa Yeah so the dragonbloggers.live is what I got buy purchasing the Streamlabs PRIME, they give you a free website domain with a .live suffix with the streamlabs.com/creator-sites

No, you can only give a payout upon a sub or resub but they can't earn twice as fast or change the interval of earning from being a sub. streamlabs.com/dashboard#/cloudbot/loyalty/settings is where all settings are, it rewards active chatters/viewers.

If you followed the instructions, I assume you do have an alertbox or browser source equiv setup for all your alerts and other alert popups work right (follows, subs, bits...etc). Hit me up on discord dragonblogger#3133 and send me screenshots of all your configurations and will see if I can find your issue.

Not for using gif's that you create, DMCA strike would get you if you use sound files that are copyright like music clips, audio bites...etc.

Assume you have alert box source set in editor and above other sources, you can't have a sound, sound effect won't show a visual alert popup no matter what, has to be a stream perk. Do your other alerts show like follow/sub alerts, is it just store alerts?

When I test my Cloudbot redemption, it just playsy a zombie alert. What is wrong there?

There are several things this could be 1) you have a default alert still set, even though you have alert variations you have to remove the default alert or it won't show the variations. 2) you have other streaming services linked in SLOBS, I was getting zombie alert whenever someone followed my Mixer/KZbin on Twitch because it will still trigger alerts if someone takes action on any streaming service you have connected to SLOBS. 3) you don't have the right alertbox or browser source setup for your scene, to check this go to streamlabs.com/dashboard#/widgetthemes and make sure the right scene collection where that alert is the one actually set, if you are using multiple scene collections.

Well yes, you set it all up in Streamlabs cloudbot and then use the browser source for your alertbox in OBS Studio.

@@dragonblogger ok thank you & subbed I did all that but the only thing I'm having issues with, is getting the point redeems alerts to appear... normal alerts are working (sub, dono, etc)..but the redeems aren't showing (with the gif and sound), instead it displays text in the chat, user has redeemed such & such. Did I miss something?
