Good questions. Have you tried calibrating your R10? Making sure it's on a level surface and can see the ball decently? Might be worth reaching out to Garmin to troubleshoot!

@@brentjenkins405 Gotcha. There is not a Garmin app for PC, but the Garmin can work with third party software that can work on a PC. Also, we use an iPad and an Apple TV to show our iPad screen on our impact screen. You can use other devices such as a Roku or Firestick for screen mirroring as well, but some of them you need a third party app to make it work and it's just not as seamless as using an iPad with an Apple TV. Or, you get an HDMI cable and an adapter to connect your tablet to your projector, but we prefer keeping it as wireless as possible!

Hello, thank you for the review. I am a left-handed golfer. Did you see anything on the app to change swing orientation? That is, the club face graphics are adequately displayed for a left-handed golfer; otherwise, a face close might show up as the face opened, and the swing path may show coming from the outside when, in actuality, it is coming from the inside. How do you set up your room if you are hitting into a net instead of a screen? If you are not projecting your shot results onto a screen, how do you hook up the R-10 to a tv monitor to view your shots?.

Hey! One way to do it is by connecting either your mobile device or iPad/tablet to a tv/monitor. If you have an Apple device, you can AirPlay the screen to an Apple TV that is connected to your monitor. Otherwise some smart TVs have that capability built in. Or, if you're OK with having an extra cable, you could connect the device to your monitor via an HDMI cable, which might need an adapter to plug into your device. On the driving range mode how do you slide to other metrics to view other stats?

Hey William! You can tap the menu (three lines) button and tap on "data fields" and that should show you your numbers for all data. You can also edit the three data parameters at the top of the driving range screen by tapping on each one and choosing what you want to be shown at the top!

Quick question: If the impact screen has to be at least 8 ft in front of the ball, how high should the impact screen be? Most golf hitting nets are usually around 7 ft high. A 60° wedge would go over the net. I would think it would have to be at least 10 ft high. Am I correct?

Hello! With our enclosure/impact screen setups, we recommend at least 10' between impact screen and hitting location. And yes, the taller you can make the enclosure, the better. Some people hit wedges much higher than others ... all depends on the swing! If you're referring to switching the vertical screen to landscape mode, there is a button now in the app to do that. I believe it shows up once you get into the range or a course. This feature I don't believe was available when this video was made.

Thanks for the video. I bought the R10 about 3 weeks ago. Outdoors it works pretty fine but so far I haven't been able to get proper distances indoors. It reads all my shots with all irons (SW, PW, 9,8,7 ) as 15-30 meter chip shots. Any idea why? Thanks.

Hi Diego, Assuming you have tried changing the club you're using in the app, we are not sure! There are many different factors that might contribute - calibration, interference, etc. We'd suggest reaching out to Garmin itself to see what they might suggest!

Hello! You should not have to move the Garmin when you switch between driver and irons. And the Garmin should be at about the same level as the surface you're hitting off of!
