Just like to confirm. I was having Issues. I copied your guide and was still having issues. So i plugged the Optical cable in back of the mixamp and into the back of my pc. I then loaded up the wave link. and changed monitor mix to realtek digital output I now have sound in my headset using the wave link. I Can confirm you can also you Both dials on the mixamp aswell as the sound effects, Also full sound on function from the wave link. So if anyone else having issues. Use optical Cable aswell as the USB :)

Hi - Do you get any input lag when gaming using wave link? I have the astro a40 mixamp and get a noticeable input lag when gaming, but not when using anything else such as browser etc

Question so if I have an amp that can control the master volume and also the voice and game volume and use a headphone with no mic and plug in a usb microphone to my computer without the software like the wave 3 this means I can still control the master volume and the game and voice volume on the amp if I don’t use any software for the usb microphone ? As far as ive figured out the wave software does the mixing in obs/slobs and only works in that the astro mixamp[ i use when im not streaming and still work fine but i run it through the optical cable i just have a slight delay in my voice.im also using the wave xlr not the wave 3.

I’m looking to buy the sound blaster gc7 and the beyerdynamic dt990 pro and a usb microphone like the Tonor usb mircrophone , if I go this route I can control the master volume on the amp and I can also still control the voice/game volume on the amp if for example I’m using discord ? If I want to hear more the game than the voice I can still control this with the amp ? I hope you can help me with this 👍🏻

I have set everything up like u stated in the video. But i still don't have sound. Once i plug Headphones in back of mic i get sound. When plugged into mix amp. No Sound. Soon as i disconnect Wave 3 mic. I get sound in headset via mixamp. What could be the issue.

if youre getting sound when your plugged into the back of the wave it means the wave is set up correctly. has to be something with the mix amp unless you arent switching the headset in wave link. if its set up exactly how i show in the video its hard to say.

@@mccaurthor I Have Switched it in the wave link section monitor mix to headphones astro mixamp pro game. But no audio and monitor mix bar is jumping up and down in green which states the sound. But no sound in headphones. But as stated. If i unplug the wave 3 mic and use headphones in mixamp. I have sound, Which i can't understand. I have even gone back to old version of the firmware as i thought the version 3 would be bugged. But still having issues :(

I'm not going to lie. I have all this working at one point to where I was using Pro Voice but now I lost all audio lol. But man if you can do a more in depth video on everything you have select such as the sound panel settings would be dope. Or list what you've done in the comment section. Still a great video

I set it to Astro pro voice last night and it worked yesterday. The issue is that I woke up this morning and I would see the game spiking in the wave 3 but I heard no audio

Try selecting a different pair of headphones in wave link and the re-select your astros again. I have to do that every once in a while.

@@mccaurthor that worked for me. Where the little speaker icon is at at the bottom I changed it around to different ones. Like wave: game, then my headset, to wave:browser and they all worked, then when I switched back to wave link system it worked
