How To Setup Your Raptor Grill Lights On A Rocker Switch - Part B (The Install)

In this video I show you how to hook-up your Raptor Grill Lights to a toggle switch that's inside the cab so you can turn them on and off as you wish. The purpose was I wanted full control over the lights. This is Part B or the second video in the series.

Both the LEDs and the wiring harness went bad on the grill so both had to be replaced. Here's the links to the new parts I used to get the raptor grill lights back up and working.

Hi Will, you have the rocker switch link available but what wiring did you use? Was it just spare wiring you had available. I have a hard time following what you did here. Did you add a fuse and wired to that fuse? I didnt get that part.

Sorry about that. Yeah you need a circuit tap fuse. Just do a search for "circuit tap fuse" and you'll see what I'm talking about. You'll tap into your fuse box in an available position that gives you power when the vehicle is started or in ACC mode. For me that was fuse position #95. I went to autozone and bought the circuit tap fuse and some extra wiring. I don't remember what gauge wire but you need enough to make a couple of longer runs. I’m getting ready to wire up my grille lights on my 2015 f150 lariat. Is this setup you did still working out good for you?

Absolutely. I leave them on all the time. Works great and the LEDs have worked a lot better!

@@ChrisBrown-bx2dz I am going to add one of those 18 inch bar lights the same way and put it on a rocker as well. I'll probably get it from harbor freight just to try it out.

Thanks again for making the video. It worked out great and love being able to just leave the switch on and have control of it. You will have to let me know how the light bar goes.
