I didn’t have a lens mounted so the F-stop was unavailable. But generally for videos indoors I keep it as low as possible at like f/2.8 if I can. I may have it at f/4 when outdoors

Hey what's up man! Do you have a recommendation for how I should set the white balance in a controlled environment?

I have my lights often set to 5500 or 5600 K. I also use a color checker for my lights and have found that setting my Kelvin to 4700 works well for me. Try playing around around that area until your whites look white.

@@PierceJPeterson This is an option. Try manipulating your Kelvin up and down until the piece of paper doesn't look blue or yellow, but white.

Love the look of your video and I want to create something very similar. I know lighting plays a big role. I'm very new to this and very limited knowledge. I have an a6400 with 3 lenses: 50mm 1.8, 35mm 1.8, 35mm 2.8. Which lens would you recommend shooting with? Also, would love to see a video breakdown of your setup and how you edit! Your videos are great and to the point!

Thank you very much! I do have a breakdown of my setup in the pipeline so stick around for that. And the lens to shoot with really depends what youre going for. If youre using a talking head like mine, depending on the space that you have, that 35mm f1.8 is your best bet

Hello, I have a question. Why on my sony a6400 device I don't have all the modes that you have, for example: on XAVC S 4K I only have two shooting options 25p 100M and 25p 60M. The device is at software version 2.0, which means the last one. Please help me with this problem, what do you advise me to do. Thank you

Its a regional thing. Its fine for you to have those settings. You can change the settings if you want in in the last menu where it says NTSC/PAL. So its fine for your to use those settings you already have based on location.

I use SLOG 2, but I also have used HLG for color grading. You have to over expose your image by two stops for SLOG 2 but you dont have to so that for HLG.

I have a question, when i open video settings i can seem to find the 24 frames only 25, when I checked online i found out i need to change to ntsc format when shooting and then back to pal to view on a laptop or edit but each time i do that it formats the whole camera so do you have any idea what should be done or how do you work this out?

If youre from outside the US, typically youd be shooting PAL like in EU or AUS.

@@Throughalanslens If that's the case, then continue to shoot with 25 FPS and 100 fps. I live in an NTSC country. Shooting in the appropriate frame rate will be beneficial for your digital devices, at least TV's.

On my A6400 there is no 24 and 30, on 4K there is only 25p 60M and 100M, on HD there are 25p, 50p and 100p with different M-s. I need 30 because of interviews :( What's wrong with it don't understand...

Go to the setup menu and look for ntsc/pal selector. Change it to ntsc
