I learned to sew the seam between the two rows of gathers for perfect gathers that aren’t smashed down. Doing that really helps make nicer gathers.

I loveeee the way this jacket looks, i constantly see your work and its great, im a drag queen from tijuana,mx An easier technique i use for elastic instead of stretching it out is making a hem to the sleeve wrist for example, but leaving a piece open before closing up the hem, then pass the elastic inside/thru the hem, once it all the way around i pull the elastic from both sides sticking out, sew it together, then close off the hem✨
