When I seen this picture before, i could tell that he sewed the one side with a machine but I couldn’t figure out how in the world did he have it connected on the other side, when clearly you can see that they were opened. As a beginner, my mind try’s to understand the direction and application of the project. (Especially if I want to learn how) I couldn’t be more excited to understand how he applied his techniques on this beautiful quilt. Thank you so much Mr. Domestic........yaaaaaaay!

To keep my rows straight, I have the dritz pins that have a flat flower or butterfly and wrote out 1-25 with a fine point sharpie. Helps me from confusing the rows. I take plenty of pictures too. :) Love this idea. I've been putting off a flag wall hanging kit I bought years ago with 2" squares. Maybe I'll tackle it now. Thanks for your great tutorials!! One of my favorites is the zippered pouches.

While the final step of snipping the thread and ironing flat might seem time consuming the outcome is gorgeous and well worth it. 😯! You’re going to save me soooooo much time! I watched this video while chain piecing haha but your way looks so much more efficient! Plus it’s gonna save me so much thread!! I’m too far in on this current quilt to give this a go. Next quilt though I’m all in! Thanks for sharing! One tiny suggestion is get you some curved manicure scissors hun!! They curve upward, and one blade has a tiny little like hook on the end. So handy cutting chain piecing apart. That little hook gets right in there. The small size allows them to get right inside a seam. Plus manicure scissors are wayyyyy less then “embroidery” scissors. Keep up the great videos!! Oh and I LOVE the name of your iron. Can’t go wrong with Regina anything. 😂😍

Totally wicked! I mean , that is one boss square sewing tutorial! Seriously, wow! I can’t wait to try it! I have used lots of tricks but I have NEVER seen that one!!! You are always teaching me something new and I love it! I have a question.... how do you come up with such great names for all of your machine helpers??? Do you name them yourself or does Helena help? I ask because I name my “helpers” too! My old cast iron Singer machine is Benjamin (I call him Benny) My work horse machine that I learned everything on is Nellie (named after my grandmother who began work in a shirt factory at age 11 and could sew anything), and my fanciest machine is a Janome named Mary Lou (named for my mom who was always happiest when sewing)☺️💕
