Zipper hoodie, please! It would be a great companion to the sweat pants! A zipper hoodie is so practical. Zipped, unzipped, easy on and off, don’t know why I haven’t seen many tutorials. Wish someone would do one! It helps so much to watch someone make one.

I hate that most women's pants either have no pockets or nearly useless pockets!! I'm so glad to see this pattern and video, can't wait to try it. Would French Terry work for this pattern also, or does it need to be sweatshirt fleece? (Like I'd hate to have to buy more fabric! Haha!)
@Mellysews2 жыл бұрын
French terry would work great too!

Good morning. Love the pattern. I’m 5’10. Is there a way to make the pattern longer?
@Mellysews2 жыл бұрын
Yes. Just add the length like this without adding the width. mellysews.com/make-sewing-pattern-bigger-smaller/

I can’t justify the cost of sweatshirt fleece. When I can buy a pair for less than $10 a pair, luckily I can fit in teen girls pants. Me being frugal, I won’t make anything that costs me more to make than to buy. Regarding the fabric, I’m more disappointed with the lack of quality of todays fleece fabric, Compared to decades ago, it’s so thin. I remember as a kid snuggling in thick sweatshirt fleece, and you would grow out of it before holes emerged. Regardless, Thanks for the video, your tutorials are always great.

I have not found pants that inexpensive in any fabrics I would want to wear - usually they're 100% polyester. I'd rather buy the fabric - and I have found nice sweatshirt fleece - than cheap pants that don't fit me well in fabric I don't like.
@SparkyOne5492 жыл бұрын
@@Mellysews Yes cotton fleece is getting harder to find. But I do find cheap cotton fleece sweats. If they fall apart, I just fix them. I would prefer to make them though.
