i know this is random because this a 3 point shooting vid, but yesterday on the last day of grade 6 (in australia we have primary school up to grade 6 then highschool up to year 12) this guy mahdiar (dribble god and lockdown defender) i wanted him to 1v1 me for his ball, so he agreed. so we started he got cocky and said u can start, so i started crossover, shamgod, stepback and fast release then i got the last 2 points he got nothing 3-0. he was like play again and i said no than he made up excuses so i played him again first to 1 so i between the legs between the legs behind the back shamgod and.....I BROKE HIS ANKLES THEN SHOT IN HIS FACE. everyone screamed and held me up and i did the Drose look when he hit the game winning shot but i was CRYING TEARS OF JOY INSIDE

THINCPRO Basketball I mean when I shoot I try not to have my off hand on the ball too much and have your legs go forward when you jump instead up just up and down to relax your shoulders. It works

I can shoot midrange jumpers with a high percentage but when i am close to the three-point line and behind it i struggle. I feel like i have to start my shooting release lower and i release the ball lower than when i shoot midrange. What to do????
@ThincPROBasketball6 жыл бұрын
You have to figure out what you are doing differently
@carltripole81075 жыл бұрын
Samson Rasbøl dude same struggles... but ive been trying the tiptoe stance before shooting...and so far its been working properly. Still gotta practice with the accuracy beyond the arc tho but hey its a plus
@boosie4l1334 жыл бұрын
Samson Rasbøl yeah same thing. The ball felt like a boulder beyond like one inch from the three point three point line. I think it’s a mental barrier because I can make every shot close the three point line in the midrange.
@Johnkoth3 жыл бұрын
The barrier is you thinking you can't make it beyond that range. Don't think that and just practice shooting beyond it and you will make it more. The key to making a shot is muscle memory and degrees of angle. Jerry West and Oscar Robertson could make a shot from any spot and any angle as if it was their hot spot. The best shooters don't have 1 hot spot. They have multiple. Whether it be at mid range or at 3. At mid range I got 6 hot spots and currently I got 1 at three. I used to have 3 at three.
@trollvidde2 жыл бұрын
I had the same problem. For me i found that i either jump right up, or faded before my shot. Which doesnt work outside the midrange, instead I started jumping slightly forward when shooting 3s like in the video and started swishing

Hi coach, the video helped me a lot but I just had one question which was, how can I release the ball in a different way than above my head because I am only 5”8?
@bidoofedits39792 жыл бұрын
I can help you with that I am only 5'9 and am a great three point shooter. Rather than the top bring the ball at eye level too your head and then aim the ball at release it using your shooting hand. Hope it helps Basically it's like Steph's form
