I use 2 mostly. In offbeat situations i automate on/off on my shaper (Soundspot Evade) and use method 1 on the same bus. Whenever i use method 1 i like to have my compression triggered by a separate audio track that i call Trigger, on which i copy paste the kick regions. Trigger is always muted. This way i don't have to worry about edits on my kick sound and volume to affect the sidechain compression, i have more control and kinda works like midi triggering.

You forgot the classic FL studio method of just putting a volume plugin on a bus with all the elements that you want ducked and just automating the exact duck shape to then copy paste over every drum, guaranteed to work every time, even for wild breakcore beats ^^

3 is by far my desired method. with shaperbox specifically you can even map different volume shapes to different notes in the piano roll!
