I'm knew to the lingos... Why is it called a silk press, And not just plain: "I flat ironed my hair" ? I thought a silk press involved something In specific. ... Like a technic, an oil, products, a brand of an iron... I don't know... the only thing I see most people do that is different is the plastic wrap or the plastic cap... but no everyone does it. Can anyone give me an insight of what a silk press is/does? Thanks in advance. ♡
