A true tamaitai Samoa. Us here in Samoa should always practice our siva Samoa, we are more into the western culture, too much tik tok but can't even do the siva Samoa 🤦♀️ thank you Mary Jane

I'm adopted in a Samoan family and I absolutely love to Siva Samoa. It's how I express myself emotionally and as an adopted girl in a Samoan culture.

@@Virky404 I second that question. Most Samoans adopt other Samoans or poly kids. Some people just join in because they love the people and culture.

Thank you:)) My Samoan neighbors just knocked on the door to wish me Merry Christmas and give me tons of food. So, I went down to the whole family and said, "I have learned 2 more Samoan words". Grandma asked what they were. So, I said mo'emo'e and ifo while doing all the steps and they laughed so hard. Turns out they were literally just teaching their little girls the dance for a wedding next week. And grandma kept telling one little girl, "See how he's doing it. Look to one side, then the other". And when I looked in the mirror, I scored major points!! Thank you!!!!! Samoans are the best!

Putting it all together at the end made me cry soo hard. When i was younger, my family had a siva “business” where ppl would hire us to dance at their wedding, etc. and i was never very good at it. Then all my family but us moved to Utah and I never danced again :( my mom tried teaching us when we were teenagers but i move like a stick now
