I returned to WoW for a nostalgia run last month. Got TF and the MH glaive, finishing my set of glaives on the rogue, and having Sul/TF on my warrior. It took 9 years of next weeks. But totally worth i.

This is insanely easy. If you keep falling off, just aim your character by holding down right mouse button, and press spacebar 3 times. This activates your glide and moves you up the next chain. You never even have to move forward. Doing that takes about 15 seconds to clime the chain and you'll never miss or fall.

A friend in my guild got both Warglaives on his first try with his Demon Hunter, and then he walks to Tempest Keep, gets Ashes of Alar, and then while he's at it, he goes to Karazhan, and he got Midnight, and if that wasn't enough, he also goes to Sunwell Plateu and guess what Thori'dal, the Stars Fury dropped from Kil'Jaeden, not that DH's can have Bows, but still, way overkill.

Couldn't do a normal double-jump on the block, but with a bit of finesse with Vengeful Retreat I was still able to make it up there. Good luck!

Little tip for hopping on the chain. Keep your back to it, then double jump and hit vengeful retreat and you'll just backflip onto it.

Did this, worked nicely, actually got WGoA on first attempt, super stoked ... only to be extremely disappointed by not getting to transmog. I wasn't aware you cannot transmog legendaries. Sad ...

I got both glaives on my DK. Took me about 9 months to get the first one then only another 2-3(?) for the second. At least a full year of farming this raid almost every week.

Great tip! I however ended up just walking up the chain on the left hand side. With walk toggle on. But you can even run if you are awesome!

I got the Warglaive on my first kill on my demonhunter, the day after release - waited 24 hours (logged out outside BT) Cleared the entire raid - Warglaive Off-Hand dropped. Dont know if i was the first EU to get it, but i am sure i was ONE of the first ones ^^, Went again today, but no luck on the main hand :/ My char's name is Telariàs, im located on Argent Dawn EU :)

I went on my rogue this reset in an attempt to get the black bow of the illidari for my hunter's transmog (only level 74) and got the main hand warglaive. I'm actually mad, which is super dumb. I really wish old legendaries became BoA.

Thanks for that guide, guy! If someone have problems to walk on the chain: if you cant move forward just move one millimeter backwards, then one millimeter left. Now, you can move forward again :)

I got the MH Warglaive and the Cursed Vision of Sargeras on my first run through BT. Excited as hell, I made a post on Reddit, but people said that Demonhunters are guaranteed one Warglaive on their first run. Guess this video shows that that's not true. Poor Asmongold :(

Hey there ! For all of you banging their hands on the wall, fear not for I shall bring you salvation. No need to jump at all (well, you have to jump to get on that rocky thing at first but not the chains). Toggle the walk mode on and just walk on the left (didn't try right side), following the edges, I made it on my first try VERY easily. I didn't jump even once to get to the top. So that's it, don't jump, just relax and walk :)

hey asmon, you should look into the warcraftbible drama if you havent already heard. if you havent, basically the youtuber kakio made a very detailed video on warcraftbible literally copy pasting articles into his videos, giving no credit and blocking people who called him out. hes not gotten any pubishment for it, but hes certainly made a huge profit off of it, sub count and cash. itd be awesome if you could make a video about it to get a bit more awareness to it. btw, warcraftbible references you in his apology video

uh, technically this is an exploit. Not as bad as the old AQ40 skip to C'thun, but same type of skipping in Blizz's eyes. It is easy to spot since you will have a raid ID that shouldn't be possible. So just saying be careful, just in case Blizz actually decides to ban someone for cheating, exploiting (just ask the PvP community about that debacle).

I did the same thing going to black temple but couldn't get in. So I stood around with all the other demon hunters and we found out you can talk to the opposite faction demon hunters if you switch to the demonic language in chat. instead of common.
