Looks amazing man! For the first time ever I get to say “your goose is cooked” while actually looking at a beautifully cooked goose, lol! And you sound great in the narration brother. Keep killing’ the game!

Thanks, Jake! It’s worth the trouble, especially if you’re making it for a special occasion or to show dominance over a rival backyard cooking buddy lol

You’re the man bro I’ve gotten sick of watching people just breast birds out and throw the rest away I started to think I was the only guy who plucks wild birds. The flavor is unmatched and the respect for the bird is at its fullest. Thankyou for this video it’s truly great!

Thanks so much! Haha I know exactly what you mean by everyone else around you breasting birds out and looking at you funny for plucking. It's a chore, but so worth it!

Just tried this with a whole Canada Goose, electric smoker (Smokin' it), Apple wood... amazing! The legs were so juicy and tender!! Very impressed.

@2:20 If my goose is beneath my fire, we've got problems! I've got a little Akorn Jr. might not fit a goose but I'ma try a duck!

A duck should work just fine as a substitute. If you’re working with ducks you hunt, make sure it’s a puddle duck and not a diving duck. Farm raised duck, it’ll be perfect. Thanks for watching, Phillip and let me know how it turns out!
