The biggest difference between C3 Div 4 and GC 1 Div 1 is game sense. The second you get into GC you'll see how the game changes into a slower pace. Ie. In Champ 3, a lot of the game is just ball chasing with heavy demo spams, whereas in GC you slow down, take your time on the ball a bit more, and go for the more useful demo plays instead of just spamming them. If you really want to get GC, save a replay where you lost, look at your rotation and find areas where you can let your teammate take over, or where you had possession and could've passed to your teammate. @@OfficialLeaf1

I don’t know what normally your rank is, im about gc1 and I feel like the audience you’re more targeting is mechanical players. You seem to disregard good playmaking for air dribbles or flip resets. Like you were saying the lower players find 1v1’s or 2v1’s very difficult so when you leave them back you are no longer making this for the player who wants to solo queue and more for the one with a teammate your own skill level. A lot of the time especially at the start you seemed to be blaming your teammate for their lack of awareness and skill. When the point is to play around your teammate to target their strengths. I hope you could improve to better help those who are looking for it 😊

The difference between me (champ 2 div 1) and you when it comes to making mistakes is clear as day. Because you have minimal mistakes it makes it look like your mechs and challenges are perfect. I can definitely vouch for the decision making being the things champs should work on the most because its the hardest to train and you need a lot of experience which is something champs dont have. Hey, interesting video. Thanks for making it. Can you try to predict the future while in the game? What I mean is, for myself I would learn how to recognize unfolding situations, if you can real time predict what will happen. Mainly because it would naturally make you explain what you recognize in the moment when you tell us about what will happen next. For example at time stamp 1:39 / 13:06 just after kick off, you decide to go for boost then go for a flip reset. You are able to say what you think you will do, but if you could predict what will happen, then it will help me understand the 'why' because you would tell me what information contributed to the process, and what information you actively looked for in order to adapt to the changing field. I'm not sure if my explanation was clear, but if you need clarity please let me know and I can try again.

Question: Is directional air roll worth learning before champ? I'm a diamond 2-3 right now. I used to play on kbm but I just switched to controller, so I'm a bit sloppy now. I have a small bit of prior feel and knowledge with air roll, but I'm quite an inexperienced player (I have like 4 days of playtime). Should I start learning directional air roll, or is it worth saving it for later?

You could probably go without it for now. You need a strong foundation in aerial consistency first. I'd say progression should be: 1.) consistency hitting basic aerials with minimal rolling 2.) making adjustments in the air with some rolls 3.) air dribbles with some basic air rolls 4.) all the above with air roll/directional air roll. I got to GC prior to free to play without directional air roll, but people in lower ranks are adapting to mechs quicker now it seems. Get in some aerial training packs it'll make a world of difference, learning to jump off walls and try to stay in the air while air rolling will help a ton with aerial control too

I've noticed that the ps4 controllers get sweaty and slippery EASILY from your hands but the ps5 one does a decently good job of preventing sweat. I love how comfortable it feels maybe its just my big hands but its still an amazing controller after youve gotten used to it. I feel a lot more controlled now.

My ps4 controller only lasted a year before I had to replace because of stick drift. Had my ps5 controller for 2 years now and it’s just starting to get stick drift at .05 dz. I’m sure mileage will vary, but that’s my experience ps4 and ps5 controllers

People in 1500 don't have the mechanics you have.. me included. Fundamentals on the other hand looked a bit inconsistent and that's really the key to climbing if you ask me. If you’re right there then you have what it takes to get to champ, the only tip I can give for where you’re at is keep on queuing and grinding out that extra little bit of mmr, you got this, don’t overthink it :)

Champs arent that great or advanced at the game. You can have mechanics, you can have rotation, but being able to control the field and slow down/speed up the plays at the right times, being able to predict whats going to happen on the pitch and everything all just comes from playing a lot and good experience. Just keep playing a lot and put more time into ranked and you'll see the improvements.
