Same, but it didn't start as a troll, it started as a "I want to be seen as "equal" " as it was when guys would give particular attention and benefits (like diamonds in minecraft ahah) to girls. Sometimes I'd say "im a robot" or "a chicken" when people asked gender questions (as if it changes anything? dunno) As time passed I just found myself liking how people see me as a guy, and I really want online people to see me as He/him or They/them. However I don't think I have dysphoria, or more specifically, I like both being in my current body, but also would like to be seen as a boy (I already bought something similar to a binder to make some tries)

I really wish I knew these tips earlier. I used to work on a domestic violence hotline (solo worker for an entire US state from 8pm-8am) to earn my way through college. It was because of that job that I learned that when I'm talking to strangers or people I'm not comfortable with, I get nervous and my voice goes much higher than my normal range. How did I learn this? Well, on the phone, somewhere toward the beginning of the call, some callers would [sheepishly] ask if I was a man or a woman (often asked by callers who would prefer to speak to a woman). At the time, I knew I didn't have a beefy, deep voice but I knew I still had a voice that, when relaxed, everyone would consider masculine. So that was a wake up call to me to pay a little more attention to my voice in those situations (since I'd definitely prefer to sound more masculine). But I haven't really tried to address the problem since then [other than relaxing when I'm nervous] so I look forward to watching more of your videos. Thanks, man! First time subscriber.

@@Human-san yeah, it sounds like we were understaffed, doesn't it? And I definitely hated working alone. But most nights I got only 4 to 6 calls. And if two people happened to call me at the same time, I would have to put someone on hold depending on the urgency. Most people who called though were not in immediate danger and just wanted to talk about past trauma so they let me call them back if I was busy helping others.

@@barkingborking1285 Please just continue being yourself. I've also been told that it's just a phase, but I've been identifying as genderfluid for over four years and counting. If you can, buy a chest binder (in the right size) for when you're feeling more masculine. I'd suggest the website gc2b because they sell binders designed by other trans people! Plus, they're super comfy. I'm still figuring out male vs. female fashion, so most of the time I just wear oversized shirts when I'm masculine. It's a work in progress.

@@barkingborking1285 I never got why people try to invalidate the way people are by calling it a “phase”. As if they’re never acknowledging others for who they are right now, but instead thinking about how someone would be decades later, someone who doesn’t even exist. Stay strong, you’re always valid. The things I personally do are -using a binder (if you can’t get one right now, use sports bras) -layering clothing, especially longer jackets to take away from curves. Especially wear dark colored pants. There’s plenty of videos of KZbin on tips to dress. -practice good posture! -facial workouts -and currently trying to find the right haircut. Even harder for me personally cause I have curly hair.

Is there any feasible way to sound more masculine without deepening? I'm female, but for the sake of singing I want to achieve the light, high-range male voice that people like Brian David Gilbert and Tyler Joseph have. My voice is already reasonably deep, within and often below the ranges of higher male vocalists, but my sound leans more to Rose Marie than anything masculine.
@ImproveYourVoice4 жыл бұрын
Lisa Z I don’t know Rosie Marie but will take a look! My first thoughts are that what differentiates a male voice from a female one? It’s generally that they are deeper due to size of the instrument (body) and the chasm that resonates the sound. If you want to sound like a man with a higher voice then you will need to develop a more flexible vocal system that will offer you the dynamics to play with! The exercises for resonance do just that!
