In Home versions, GPEDIT isn't available. Here is how: Download this: drudger.deviantart.com/art/Add-GPEDIT-msc-215792914 then open setup.exe. (For x64 users like me): Copy GroupPolicy, GroupPolicyUsers and gpedit.msc from C:\Windows\SysWOW64 to C:\Windows\System32. In case you are getting “MMC could not create the snap-in” error message then download the following zip file (www.itechtics.com/?ddownload=18249) and unzip it to C:\Windows\Temp\gpedit\. This should replace two files x86.bat and x64.bat. Credits to davehc for this. Hope this helps!

of course qos packet is a myth that never dies.qos packet scheduler only limits the speed of internet by 20%only when it is windows updating but when its not it uses all the bandwith and reserves nothing.so you willl not getting anything and plus you will slow down your windows update if you do this.a microsoft tech has already debunked that myth.

After doing everything on this video, I was shocked to find that my download speed had gone from 91.47 Mbps to 43.63 Mbps. I ran the test again to be sure, but then the speed had dropped to 26.97. I then undid everything I implemented and ran the test again. And low, my speed was back to 91 Mbps.

I went from 53.68 mbps download speed to 23.92 and my upload was 10.54 and now its 17.93 mbps

thanks. my downloading seemed to work fast after following your steps. unfortunately i couldn't run the speed tester properly. it only seem to run maybe twice and even then i didn't get the full results. but it seem to make the downloading go faster on my favorite website. so thanks for all the tips.

If you find you are Getting lower speed after doing this just open cmd as admin and Type:( netsh interface tcp set global autotuning=normal ) Should Fix
