How to spray a tailgate with bedliner

Ive been struggling to get the wire to seperate from the tape when pulling adter spraying. Im self taught. Im so glad i found this video. Making the flag like that fixed my issue. You guys rock!!!

I hate to sand my brand new tailgate though 😢 but im sure that's the only way it'll stick

Yes it must be sanded if you are wanting the full strength. We’ve had many from the ford factory peel right off and us have to fix them.

I have a question. When yall do trucks that have power converters in the side of the bed do you tape over it and wire trim it kr remove the box?

What brand paper are you using and what size?

I believe the brand is high tech 36” paper
