Gentlemen superb and indeed excellent advice on how to dress well "stand out" without overdoing it your suggestions is that the devil is in the details taking a subtle approach just a simple accessory having only one part of your attire be the focal piece and everything else remain toned down thanks for the video and the great points enjoy the turtleneck and jacket ensemble truly a classic casual look once again fantastic job gentlemen!

Man! That vest is killing it! I love it. You guys are always stylish. A few videos back, you had a 2 colored suit (red and blue) and now the gray and black vest...Do you guys think this may start to trend? (I kinda hope so)

I plan to travel to Asia and buy two suits at once. I think this is better than just buying one suit because I can then mix and match them to get 4 outfits out of them. Which suit and what fabric should I get so that they match? Can you do a vid on this?
@TheBooban5 жыл бұрын
And 3 piece suit, so vests can mix and match too. And jackets which I could wear as a sports coat with jeans. Value for money for two suits. Great idea, yeah? Maybe you should offer this kind of deal in your shop.

Hey, I'm teaching in thailand at the moment, there is a very good tailor in korat (nakhon ratishma) called peter. If you google Lord's Tailor korat it will come up. Walk in knowing what you want though as Thai style suits favour slimmer lapels and a slightly shorter back.
@TheBooban5 жыл бұрын
tonyk playter thanks for the tip. im guessing thai style that way is because the people are also slimmer and shorter. Yeah, off the rack isn’t any good, but tailoring can be just as random with what you end up getting. As a regular guy, we don’t really know what we want except it shall look great.
@tonykplayter80195 жыл бұрын
@@TheBooban No i walked in knowing exactly what i wanted in terms on contruction ect... and it helps if you have a suit you like (and fits well) to show. Yes thats why they prefer shorter backed and slimmer lapels, but it is just a case of adjusting their templates. Anyways, good luck.

Hey TheBooban, great move, I hope you enjoy Asia. Which country are you going to? This could be an interesting vid, I've noted down the question, thank you. -Josh

Hi Vaclav, I'm not too sure where you can get them now, perhaps try Charle Twyritt or Gieves & Hawkes. This tie was from the old Morts & More tie collection. We sold out.

In three years I hope that single breasted jacket got tailored. It is a perfect example of bad fit when your button does not lay flat but is rather pulling to the side. The X clearly shows that the jacket is too tight; a man with a developed chest needs more tailoring so the chest does not pull the jacket open. This is why some men will unbutton their jacket when sitting down and re-button when standing back up. How much is the need to unbutton when sitting down also depends on what kind of vents you have, if any.
@crisanister51315 жыл бұрын
Maybe is just me but the navy jacket looks too tight and the gray waistcoat too large.
@Mortsandmore5 жыл бұрын
Cris Anister Fair assessment tbf. Navy jacket is a stretch casual jacket. More like a cardigan fit. As for the grey, yup.

I guess I'm just Old School and not on to the New School style but the guy wearing a "vest" with long sleeve shirt looks ridiculous. Is he doing it ironically? Otherwise he's wearing a "fad" and not "timeless" style. I laugh when I look at him.
