The screwing the feet into the ground is a game changer for me. Helps me keep knees bent, get off my heels, fire my weak glutes and keeps my knees from crashing in. Literally after just one day, I'm noticing benefits and a correction to my anterior pelvic tilt. Hoping it will help my anterior femoral hip glide and reduce the pain in my glute med and piriformis syndrome. Thanks so much for posting!

My secretary has a standing desk with a treadmill. It's awesome and she loves how she walks a certain amount of miles each week. I know that I sit too much during the weekend. But during the week, I'm up dancing and singing with my kids. So...you're reinforcing what I do. What I deserve to sit my butt down during the weekend. Love your videos Blake!

I'm a high school student who struggles with hunching over to finish my work on my desk. I honestly have an anxiety of sitting in desks because I feel I look weird and awkward when I hunch very low to do my work. I don't have much self confidence but in hoping a good posture will allow me to eventually have some. Any solutions for a student hunched over at a desk?

Thanks. Saw the video title and clicked on immediately. I stand for long periods of time on a stone floor. I'll check out the mat you mentioned. Also, going to be flying from CA to PA soon, when no one is looking I'll do the whole body jiggle thing. I'll warn my husband first about what I'm doing.

Now in 2023 that Standing Tables became much more popular I found this video. Thanks for explaining it all so well. Just in case you wanna make another one like this, make sure you are wearing white clothes otherwise they blend in with the dark background like in this video and important posture changes you are showing cannot be seen. Other than that, great video! :)

I have a question about engaging the core while standing (and sitting for that matter) - it's difficult to engage the core at the same time as breathing through your belly. I've also heard that constantly engaging your core puts pressure on your internal organs and pelvic floor. Anyone got any guidance on these points? Otherwise great video, screwing your feet into the ground and the shoulder roll are both great

I'm surprised this hasn't been answered by a single soul. I personally find diaphragmatic breathing quite hard when standing. It's even harder the more 'upright stand. I almost need to slouch a bit. One que that helps me is the phrase 'breath into your balls'. I find it's slightly different than expanding your belly forward.

I've been looking for how to stand with flat feet (inherited flat feet) and cant find anything on it. Everything is about how to fix my arch which isnt possible. My knees natural point outward because my feet point outward too. Is it heathier for me to turn them in or leave them as is? If I leave them outward, how do I go about standing?

I just watched a 10 min video on how to stand, and embarrassingly I still need more advice. I heard that you shouldn't lock your knees, but if I rotate my feet and tense up my glutes and abs, my knees unavoidably lock. So how can I avoid that?

Hi Blake, thanks for the video! I've had poor posture all my life and am now making an effort to correct my imbalances. I have to stand at work for hours at a time holding a heavy plate in front of me and every time I do I end up with moderate aches in my upper middle back, sometimes so bad that I cannot sit on the commute home without pain. I am going to start working out my back soon to help pull my shoulders back. I'm 23. Do you have any advice for me? Thanks again! I'm loving these videos. They are extremely helpful to me.

Thanks for the quick reply. I'm about to start going to the gym to do a weight lifting routine. I'm hoping they have foam rollers! I've got ATP, mild flat feet and forward head too. I'm going to spend the first few weeks focusing on postural exercises and stretches. I hope to have your posture one day!
