I recently registered to start nursing but years ago I had in my heart to open a daycare but I want to be more knowledgeable when that day comes and I run my own daycare. What do you recommend? I want to start a working space/hybrid day care in my city that has a space for parents to work while their children have childcare in the same building. Is it feasible to get a business loan for something like this? I am trying to figure out how I would manage this with little personal savings to invest.

I would suggest a microloan of some sort if you don't want to dip too much into savings, and there are other options such as partnering with local employers to obtain funding as well. Hi Ashley, so glad I found your videos. I have a question,,, if you cant afford a commercial property but you dont want to use your home, can you lease another home and it still qualify as a home center or am I reaching?

Hi Latisha! Great Question. Alot of people will go this route, but it can be challenging to get a Landlord to approve a daycare operation in their home. If you can't afford a commercial property, there are so many other methods to still be able to get into a commercial property that is available. How can you get more than the required 6 kids starting from home? 6 kids is not enough for a lucrative income...in my state with home childcare the max number of kids you can have is 6.
