Welcome to our channel!
We are a family of 8 and we have been on a Qur'aan memorization journey the last 10 years. Follow along as we try to show you how that looks like in real life and within the craziness of a large family.
Today's question: 'I want to ask your advice with regards to Quran reading routine every morning. Children are 3 and 5.5 years old.'
1. Focus on the relationship with your child.
2. Establish routines in regards to sleep and meals first. Add Qur'aan reading routine next.
3. For young children start with listening to become familiar with the sound of recitation and with learning how to read Arabic.
4. Short sessions of 10 - 15 min max but be consistent and do it every day until they become second nature.
5. Avoid punishments and rewards, but rather make it a part of your natural flow of the day (same as you eat, sleep etc.)
6. Anchor the Qur'aan reading and recitation to something positive.
Hope this helps!
For learning how to read, we highly recommend the Qai'dah Nooraniyyah program. Our children have been able to learn how to read at a young age with the correct pronounciation at their own pace.
We'll be making more videos in future insha'Allah, so please like, comment and subscribe!

There are 2 spectrums often portrayed online:
A - the HOW to videos with tips and tricks
B - the finished PRODUCT of a child/young person reciting amazingly well and fluent
How to get from A to B is RARELY portrayed because it's MESSY and not pretty and often very hard. We're hoping to bridge that gap by showing you what it really looks like and by talking about the process and the LONG journey.

Asslamu alaikum My son is 9 years and Alhamdulilah doing hifz. Juzz amma about to finish. But as living in Europe , I find it hard ,how this will happen. I need schedule for him. That how can I help him when he will move to big surah in future. In shaa Allaah. 1st: how to cope with school studies and how to revise previous lessons while memorizing next and how much would be convenient time daily?

Wa alaikumu salaam! May Allah make the journey of hifdh easy on you and him! Does he have a teacher? If he is doing hifdh with a teacher, I'd recommend following their plan or making a plan with them. If you're doing hifdh at home by yourselves, even better. You can have your own plan and not stress out. 💐 Juzz 'Amma is a great accomplishment and make sure to celebrate his success. Make sure it's EASY for him before you move on to harder/longer/newer stuff. Children need to feel confident and succesful. We don't want to overburden them with unrealistic expectations. There is no rush in hifdh. I wish someone would have told me that when I was a mom of a 9 year old 😊 Maybe I need to make a video about 'Things we wish we had known' 😅 No rush. Even if the hifdh were to be 'finished' tomorrow - there is a life time of revision and daily recitation ahead of you. Don't worry about big surahs in the future. Make sure he has a routine of learning and revising and you guys are enjoying that. We follow the following system loosely. (I say loosely because each family has a different dynamic of what works for them and you need to figure out your own system.) 1. Revision of the most recent surahs (thats either the most recent page or eventually the most recent 5 pages memorized): this needs to be SOLID. If the child is struggling, we don't add anything new until this is strong. 2. Revision of everything memorized: we strive to revise everything within a week or 10 days. Its up to you how you split it. When they only know few surahs, this revision can be done every day. When they know more, it eventually gets to be half a juzz daily or even a whole juzz (or 3 etc). If they are struggling with this revision, nothing new gets added, until they feel comfortable with this. 3. New ayahs/surah/page. This only gets added when both revisions are strong and solid . There seems to be this chasing of new memorized stuff but often the older stuff gets forgotten. No rush 💐 I think these 3 parts or 2 parts should not take very long - if the child is attentative and you're both present mentally. Often THAT is the issue. Being focused and disciplined and in the routine of it. Particularly when the revision gets to be weak, kids want to start avoiding it. This is why my advice is to stick with the surahs until they are soo easy and to keep revising it while its easy before adding new stuff. Its a lifetime journey. Small baby steps .

@@HifdhWithKids yes no rush. he has hafizah who give 30 minutes 5 days. but i think now a days one can memorize byself as so many recitations like ayman swed. on youtube and then once a week someone listen him and corrects him properly. but i feel its even more important then hifz that he understand islam as well. how can i teach him parallel? so he does nt get bored and i dont stress out as i am too learning as well. i feel that we are running out of time , if i could not teach him well then there is lots of attractions and filth around. obs: he is going non muslim school nearby, i tried some muslim schoon but right now its hard. so please advice according to our scnerio. yes often goes to sunday islamic center for 2 hours.

@@ummehaadi4184 you are NOT running out of time - you have a whole life time ahead of being your child's mother insha'Allah and of teaching him and practicing Islam...where is this fear coming from? I'd examine that and look at your triggers. Prioritize your relationship with your child - come along side of him...spend time with him: not just showing Islam down his throat or warning him about the filth around him but rather doing stuff together, talking, playing, enjoying family time. Healthy family relationships and time spent together is WAY more important than enrolling them in a Muslim institution. Encourage a relationship in which he can share with you what happens at school without being judged or shamed - that will help him process what's going and not take it underground or engage in a double life where he has to hide from his parents.

Each child has their own unique ability and pace. Try your best not to compare them with each other - that only increases siblings rivalry and creates resentment. Each child had their own unique path so its ok if they are on different surah. You give them time accordingly. Check out my other videos insha'Allah.
