great video but I am personally tired of seeing all these marketing/sales videos while there is zero to no focus on product delivery skills. I have seen many agencies who have little to no experience in the actual production yet over promise to their clients. If you are starting out I would highly recommend to focus on acquiring actual skill before making your first sale.

Highly agree! That's why clients, get burned: because what they receive is not even comparable to a good service. Btw I think we should connect with each other, dunno how, but you seem to be in this market for a long time, so I am

Totally agree. Adam Everheart has a great video on that on which services to offer. Go High Level should be used and implemented fully. Missed call text back, and a DBR. But yeah, the Influencer Era has screwed marketers. But I can't say anything. it's how I found it 4 years ago. lol. Great comment!

Solo! Great video Pait, love the shirt also mate 😎 Biggest mistake I made when starting out was letting myself play the technician role FAARRRR too much. I loved building website, so that's what I did. It's where I focused all my efforts and whilst I didn't have too much issue finding new clients - I was burnt out within the year because my AGENCY wasn't productive unless I was at work in it, I alone was the agency. If the stuff in this video doesn't excite you (particularly in step one), these facets of your agency are just as important as the work itself, so don't ignore them - take the time early on to a build a system so these areas take care of themselves with as little input from yourself. Building those systems might not be much fun either, but your taking a hit today to set your tomorrow self up for success 💪

Thank you for your work ! I wanted to ask what is the best way to learn seo and can you give me some practical advice where to start. Because a lot of courses are 40+ hours and I think that the most part of it is bs. I only know that backlinks + good content + optimizing the page with meta tags play a huge role, and that's all.

I have a question i started learning webflow 5 months ago and no i'm confident that i can build any layout with CMS, fs attributes and so on, but i still feel that there is a huge gap in my Webflow skill, so i'm planning to get a remote internship . I do have a website (will launch in 1 week) and i do have a professional email, how can i write effective emails to agencies to hire me? Thank you!

The problem I'm facing is the results and action part of it. I've built 3 websites myself but am intimidated and not sure how contracting out new website projects would work. How do you have the mindset of being a manager and not actually "working" on the projects?
@akshatsadhu
@akshatsadhu 4 ай бұрын
Just make sure some things when you plan to contract your work to someone. Explain them in advance the outcome and quality you're expecting, alot of people will say they can build websites but when you give them work they'll suck at it resulting poor outcome and dissatisfied client(from my own experience had to redo the whole work and still had problems because of timeline). make sure to check original previous work and some results even in local environment or live projects. third focus on getting the outcome for clients with processes (by giving it to someone but making sure they're giving you your outcomes which you need) and just manage those things (aka what client needs, and the outcome you give) and you're good to go. lets connect if you need help with contracting:)

@PaytonClarkSmith

Freelancer is typically the only personal on fulfillment and still runs every other aspect. A solo agency still has only one full time employee (you) but command the power of an agency with the use of contractors, tools, ai and strategy. 💪🏼

SOLO! Is it really solo if you had to hire people to do most of the work for you? And can I pay them per job? wont that be better?
@PaytonClarkSmith
@PaytonClarkSmith 4 ай бұрын
Yes, as a solo agency you typically just hire people part time or per project. I prefer the per project approach as it’s easier to anticipate your personal take-home revenue after expenses

SOLO My question is, how do you handle clients that take forever to deliver content for the website? I'm doing a test project before starting my business but I have problems finishing that project because of the missing content. If that happens with real clients, I will have to wait pretty long for the final payment.
@PaytonClarkSmith
@PaytonClarkSmith 4 ай бұрын
I always try to set a deadline for them to deliver Contant and if they don’t deliver it in time, we just create some placeholder content using AI and launch the site. Then they can update it on their own time and you won’t have to wait to get paid. in some instances, the client will not want to push the site live without their content, and in those cases I would enforce a late fee!

The difference is a solo agency commands the resources of a full scale agency. This allows you to accomplish more and charge more. It has a certain appeal to clients as well. As a solo agency you employ tools and contractors so you don’t get bogged down doing it all by yourself.
